  1. Got beat 3-2. Went 2-0 up with Stuart scoring his first goal and Rodgers scoring a fine free kick in the first half. Dunfermline came back into it in the second half and came out on top 3-2. Cheers to Dunfermline as they lent us a couple of players at short notice.
  2. Nice one Neil. Yeah I can give you a lift there and back.
  3. I'll ask a couple of people. I can drive. Is anyone going to the saints game afterwards?
  4. Game - aye. Awards - maybe. Golf - aye.
  5. Will be interesting to see who Sky's main man will be next year. Wouldn't be surprised to see Wiggins take the back seat and support Froome for the GC. Think Peter Sagan will the Tour in the next few years. Looked very impressive this year.
  6. I'm a maybe for this, will confirm nearer the time.
  7. The 15th hole along by the river is one of the most scenic in Britain.
  8. Like you've mentioned, I think we'd struggle to get a Saturday booking, with club competitions taking up most of the day. So Sunday is probably the best option.
  9. Not sure, but would of thought Motherwell.
  10. We went out in the group stages but were a bit unlucky in the end. Lost the first game 4-0 to Clyde, beat Airdrie in the next 3-0 and drew 1-1 with Ayr in the last. Hit the post in the last minute against Ayr, which would of seen us advance to the semi-finals!
  11. Sam Rush and Jack are both naws.
  12. Any idea what time the tournament is likely to finish at Rodge? I'd need to be back in Perth for about 5 cause of work.
  13. Now working, so can't make this anymore.
  14. I'm up for this. The Island or Craigie Hill could be a shout, as I think Nick got a decent deal last year for the Tesco golf day out at the Island, which was rained off in the end.
  15. Had a great game when he came on on Saturday. The thing with Millar is he's sometimes guilty of not being direct enough, and his final ball can sometimes let him down. However, on the flip side of things he's essential to our passing game; in keeping the ball moving and retaining possession. His work rate is second to none and commitment never in doubt. When things aren't going our way he can be the one some get at, example on Saturday being when he played the ball back the way to Mackay, when he might have been better driving forward, which disgruntled a few people. Though the end result being we kept possession. If he could add goals to his game he'd be almost the complete midfielder and if anything positive will come of Jody's injury it will be that he has a chance to prove himself and possibly regain his place in the starting 11.
  16. Really encouraging second half, after a a first half performance which was pretty disappointing. We looked so much better with the 4-4-2 formation while the introduction of Sheridan at half-time gave us something we lacked - in terms of height, movement and support to Sandaza. Croft and Craig worked the wings really well and were always available as an outlet. Ando was superb at the back, using the ball wisely. Ironically, thought we played our best football when down to 10 men as we were forced to keep possession. Thought we might sneak it in the end, but it wasn't to be. Great travelling support from saints fans and a braw day out!
