  1. “Archie” Hogg died in Aberdeen on January 2nd after a very short illness.
  2. There was also a Masseys supermarket (small) in the old centre too, at the right hand side of the picture earlier beside the planters. A larger Masseys was at the bottom of the High St where Argos is now.
  3. I'm think you entered off Scott Street, either the pizza place, or the slots next to it, or maybe the clothes shop.
  4. Aberdeen on the wednesday 11:00 deptarture with KLM to amsterdam, returning on the sunday, still cheaper than £850 with 4 nights accomm
  5. the flights I looked at had connection times of approx 1 hour on the way out, less than 2 hours on the return.
  6. I thought £450 ish for Aberdeen/Amsterdam/Trondheim was slightly dear but £850 each is ridiculous for one night and no ticket., especially when it is times two! The slight problem with the Aberdeen solution is the return flights, but even having to stay longer it will still be cheaper and you can have a mini break! Cant see the average fan rushing to book this. Then again it might depend on the definition of the included "travel escort"
  7. Shirt sponsors to be Wonga?
  8. I remember many years ago when I went to wembley as a wee boy I went to a museum of football somewhere in London. one of the wall displays did say that it was "invented" in Scotland, possibly at Scone palace. the archery mentioned was practiced on the South Inch, one of the stone pillars, I think the one opposite the church is inscribed detailing the location.

    Accounts

Worth the loss to turn them over ????
  10. Easier said than done....... Try just even getting one, very few opportunities these days
  11. Not many contractors would pass your vetting! in the current climate if they did not price "keenly" they would have gone 6+ months ago. Councils and nhs have not helped by squeezing out local contractors in favour of "bigger" companies. Fraud squad is interesting............... who knows what they will find!!! Sadly too late for the 200 plus the inevitable other casualties.

  16. I assume it did keep working after mains power went off ? try removing battery when off, remove the ram memory and refit, batt back and try again. if it stopped with the power cut you might have had a power spike. you should be able to retrieve your data if it is a laptop death by removing HD and putting into an external drive casing and accessing via another machine
  17. Probably just can`t count any higher than two !!!
  18. twice recently at Hampden for friendlies we ended up standing for the entire game, not a single request from a steward for anyone to sit......... the difference is????
  19. hope you did not have any e-mail accounts set up on it - you might find you have bought the whole ned family pressies.
  20. Concorde also had a "hi-fi" shop in the centre, it was under the flats to the left hand side of the monument - well behind it really.
