Millar and McDonald were horrendous together last season, though both players improve with an other player beside them or in a three. I do think that system is worth exploring though, even if it is very similar to what we play now a more attacking player behind the striker would support better than the likes of McDonald.
Defence and keeper picks itself right now

Loans are almost always just till January as it benefits both sides that way and allows to both clubs to review where it's at and decide to keep the loan going. May's loan to Hamilton was to January but was extended to the end of the season.
Because Vine was that poor for us aye? Tell me someone who's available who's a better option? Vine was excellent for us in the same system we are trying to play now. We don't need him to play 90 minutes every week, but he would provide a spark either upfront or at left wing for 60-70 minutes or off the bench.
A 4-5-1/4-3-3 is fine as long as Graham gets plenty of a support and isn't left isolated. Spoon and O'Halloran didn't do that v dundee and I would drop both and then use O'Halloran as an impact sub. If Muzz is ready then replace the injured brown with him, otherwise move Lappin into midfield and start Mikey. Wouldn't be adverse to seeing Caddis in for McDonald though
