  1. Un smiley faces. Pretty obvious he does not want to be in Perth or at saints. He should have got a one way ticket to NYC
  2. Tweeted tonight Just back in Perth
  3. If results don't see him out first pal!!
  4. That's correct, he was. Smart money on Roddy also being new general manager/chief exec/whatever the hell they'll call it this time. Tellin ye
  5. I thought Roddy was the new General Manager?? Weird how it's not on the site coz that's a good few weeks now.....
  6. Its now a very public matter as they have let it spiral out of control is the point i am making. Christ
  7. Agreed. Only SJFC can put an end to this for good though. They have employees to protect but they also need to acknowledge to their paying Customers that they have an issue which is being dealt with - or not whatever the case may be. Getting rather silly now...........
  8. The worst of it is, if the club had acted or at the very least acknowledged they know of rumours existing etc, this thread wouldnt be so long and youd have more time to concentrate on more important things going on. So SJFC if its true you are watching, lets hear from you.
  9. Never mind being sacked, this guy should be locked up. I cant get my head around these people. F***ing sick.

    grainger

Danny Grainger is terrible. Fact. Reading on Twitter - he was told last week to his face by a Saints fan in the Sandeman - "you are a shite left back. Liam Craig is even better at left back than you". He offered no reply. Cant believe Hearts are after him.
  11. Any idea who the new general manager will be?
  12. Never met him but his name is Bernard. Food was excellent at the hibs game. He worked alongside phil on his last shift to hand over.
  13. Went to the Northern Hotel for a meal and drinks before the game. Excellent service and food. Stood along side the hedge for the game, wasnt bothered about the rain, thought it was a great game, good banter and was loving the old school standin at the footy. Think well beat them at McD but it will not be easy, Weir and McGowne have instilled a never say die attitude in that team. All in all a great day - I think everyone will agree Brechin FC deserve great credit in their efforts for getting the game on and their efficient communication.
  14. A lot of the boards family attend the games home and away, most sitting in the east stand (as paying fans) or actually working at the stadium on a matchday.
  15. Rangers have an SMS text alert system - see info here, quite pricey though. http://www.rangers.co.uk/page/textalerts/0,,5,00.html
  16. You could charge £5 at the start of the season off the web site for an SMS text service from the club. 2500 peeps at £5 = £12,500. If you budgeted for 50 texts a season thats £3.25 for each person, leaving a profit of £4375 (subject to VAT, credit card fees etc) All hypothetical, not sure who would be willing to pay £5, nothing wrong with bouncing ideas around sean.
  17. im not going to get in to the slagging, just suggest the following; http://hootsuite.com/ With HootSuite, you can monitor keywords, manage multiple Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Foursquare, Ping.fm and WordPress profiles, schedule messages, ... Hoot Suite is perfect for communicating instantly with the younger generation of St.Johnstone fan. http://www.mediaburst.co.uk/?gclid=CNzt1PKjhqcCFQ4f4QodKgLRdw is a bulk texting provider. This would be a very useful tool for them. Even most of the older fans have a mobile these days!
  18. When I worked in Asda ten years ago, we were told in training it was the only store in the UK with the signage, rhones etc painted any colour apart from green. They were painted royal blue in tribute to St. Johnstone. Unfortunately it has all been updated to green now. You can still see some blue on a couple of downpipes that have been battered by trolleys. Would have been nice of them to keep the tradition, but like everytthing else life moves on.....
  19. exactly. Its a nightmare. there is no quick fix solution for this problem. The pitch is going to get a lot worse before the end of the season.
  20. That 'simple' drainage problem is below the level of the under soil heating pipes. The pitch, USH and several layers need completely excavated to renew all the drainage after 20+ years of sand and silt clogging it all up and compacting.
  21. He's just the front man/fall guy. Theres a good chance it wasnt even him. The truth will come out one day.........
  22. Its not good, especially with it being THE ONLY postponed match. I have to say it is getting a little tiresome now. I understand there are problems below the level of the USH which severely affects the drainage of the pitch. Not a job for during the season, lets hope the ball is rolling with a view to work beginning at the end of the season. As for today? Pub.
