  1. I'll second that. He should be in the Novelty Name Fame Of Hall.
  2. If this thread gets enough posts maybe the Livi chairman will post on it telling us we don't know what we are talking about like he does on the Livi forum What a great man, Livi's future is safe in his hands
  3. Just phone the 208, and ask for my bird - Mary Hinge. Seriously though, got a ticket going spare......................
  4. i have a spare adult ticket for the east stand. I will be in the 208 pre match. PM me if interested.
  5. Dundee have had the undersoil heating on for 48 hours. Game is in no doubt.
  6. RIP. being a younger fan, i have never seen him play, anyone have any memories of him?
  7. Ewan Macgregor? Or did he not get as far as the stand?? Sean Connery - wasnt he a guest of David Murray at a Saints v Rangers match? Jonah Lomu - watching Scotland A V New Zealand A i
  8. Dunfermline FC quote the attendance here: http://www.dafc.premiumtv.co.uk/page/News/dugout/0,,10288~1440852,00.html
  9. a lot of empty seats in our stand at the side (furthest from the main stand) cannae be a kick in the a*se off it. But a BRILLIANT support.
  10. On the official dundee forum, quite a few of them have mentioned Dave Baiklie. Surely there not that desperate. Gordon Chisolm has just signed a 3yr deal with a well run club, dundee couldnt afford compo and why walk away from that security? My money is on Billy Dodds with Allan Preston as Assistant. (as much as it pains me to say that)
  11. That bad? I think were still quite lucky with Hampden, although it has been modernised it does still feel like there is a lot of history there, the atmosphere at times is great too.
  12. An interesting read: http://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/paulfletcher/2008/10/finding_footballs_soul_at_dage.html#038780 I went to see Man U a while back and felt exactly the same.
  13. He is a cheeky t***. He wants to be considered in the future with the next manager!! He has just put even more pressure on George Burley. Gordon Smith will probably pussy around saying he respects the desicion. Smith needs to grow a set and ban him from pulling on the dark blue ever again. The amount of guys that would give their right arm to be given the privelige of playing for Scotland and he spits the dummy out. Fuc* him.
  14. WHAT? I take it you've had a few pints today?
  15. I'd agree with that. Anyway, I hope the hospital rumour is just that and he is OK, were running out of centre backs!
  16. It was difficult yesterday to get behind the team. I felt sorry for Rustybits yesterday, he has worked hard since the Connolly days to improve himself and had a good season last year. The midfield put the defence under so much pressure it was unreal. I walked out when partick hit their fourth, but ill be there on Tuesday to cheer them on.
  17. i'm still gutted after yesterday, but i believe no-one will be as gutted as del. I'm backing him to get it right. There was some strange desicions yesterday though and there appears to be a confidence problem running through the squad, amongst other things. In an ideal world I'd have: Main Anderson JamesĀ© New CB New LB Swankie Millar Morris Sheerin Holmes Jacko The jury is still out on Dan Smith for me, no-one moved for him and he was left far too exposed at times.
  18. It wouldn't happen if he paid to have doormen on matchdays.
  19. Anyone got 2 spare tickets for the renfrew ferry this saturday?
  20. Cheers for that. Do you think the club keep photos from that era? Gonna give them a bell tomorrow.
  21. My mistake, it is Robert Macfarlane, he said he played in the 50's or 60's, so you must have the right one Radford.
  22. Has anyone got any info on Ronnie 'Killer' MacFarlane? He played for Saints in the 60's, he passed away some time ago. His nephew has asked me for any info. Cheers
  23. 1. Saints 2. Dundee 3. Dunfermline 4. Livingston 5. Morton 6. Partick Thistle 7. Hamilton 8. Queen Of The South 9. Clyde 10. Stirling Albion
