Time to get started, league fixtures out & European draw tomorrow. Shamelessly editing Jimbo's post for last season. The Points system is as follows 5pts for a correct score line prediction (you say it will be 2-1 saints and the score is 2-1 saints) or 2pts for a correct result prediction (you say 2-1 saints but it is actually 3-0 saints) -------- 3pts for the first scorer Up from 2 points last season (this applies to the first scorer in the match not the saints first scorer). Own goals don't count, if the 1st goal is an og then the next goal will be given as scoring first. So it is possible to predict a 1-0 win & no scorer. Another option is to say ‘ no scorer’ in your prediction and if it end 0-0 then you will get the first scorer points 1pt for anytime scorer if your nominated players scores in the match but not the opening goal. -------- 3pts for a guess with in 50 of the attendance 2pts for a guess with in 250 of the attendance 1pt for a guess with in 500 of the attendance (away games at Rangers and Celtic the boundries will be changed - using 500 and 1000 as the limits for 2pts and 1pt. 3pts is still within 50) If you get the crowd number absolutely spot on, then you are very lucky and will get a bonus point.... -------- This gives a new maximum of 11pts for any particular match -------- As ever, all predictions will be taken for 90mins and will not include extra time and pens. It will include Scottish Cup, League Cup & Europa League matches as well as the League games -------- Bonus points To freshen things up a bit and make it a little bit different from other years, there will be double points on offer for European Games (ie Europa League and Champions League fixtures). So your week total will be calculated and doubled and added to your running league total. Dont miss out on these points! Double points also on offer for cup semi finals and finals (Scottish cup, or league cups).... -------- League Table Predictions 1pt for each team in the correct position. (ie if Saints finish 7th and they finish 7th you get a point, this gives 1pt for each team in the division.)

I'll ask for a Score, 1st Scorer & Crowd for each match. Points will be awarded on how well you predict. Guessing the crowd is as much guess work as who'll score first. You'll also get to predict the final league table & get 1 point for each correct position.

Despite what seems to be common thought, Sepp Blatter was actually against Qatar getting the World Cup. The only person who has admitted voting for them was Platini.

*These 2 are related IMO, I could post in the match thread a few days before. I could use the status thing down the side too? There is already an extra point for getting the score spot on. Do you think it should be more? Open to this but starts getting more complicated.. thoughts from others?

Opening this up for suggestions. Fairly happy with the way it's went, if anyone has any suggestions as to any changes we could implement then fire away. Any other thoughts about making it easier to predict as I'd like to get more users taking part. We did get a few to start with the European games but they faded away. Fixtures are normally out at the start of June but I'll probably start about the European draw time towards the end of June. Thanks
