You've continually suggested (including in quoted post) that Kennedy is trying harder when he thinks there's a scout watching him. "Has his best game when the contract is in the paper" That's YOUR quote. To me that's suggesting he tried harder v County than he has in other games.
There you go just sums it up. 'To me'
Fckin hell your hard work today. It's clear you have no clue what involvement means. 1 sentence and your fixated on it and youve got the wrong end if the stick and wont drop it. Let it go.
You had thought I was saying he wasn't trying? Now your saying he's trying harder. Eh?

So they all try their best and are "gassed at full time " but many of them have been "taking the piss for 3 months"? How does that make any sense?
And I'm not the one suggesting Kennedy doesn't try - you are, as you have done again in your last sentence.
Please tell me where i said he didnt try? Youre making it up in your head. Otherwise forget it. I didnt question that. What grasp of the game do you have as trying is completely different to being good or on form. Plenty of effort but utter dross is what we've seen for best part of the season. Kennedy has not lived up to expectations this season, has his best game when the contract is in the paper, scouts looking on. He is our best player by far and was more involved v Ross County than many many other games. Coincidene to you ok, for me I think he's offski.

Are you suggesting Kennedy only bothers if he thinks there are scouts watching him? Because if you are that's pathetic. Matty tries his heart out every time I see him. Fair enough some games he will be better than others - that's football - but to ever accuse him of not trying is scandalous.
Not at all. Just hot or cold, more cold this season. You've made up your own argument in simple comment that one of his better performances coincidentally comes at a time when there is transfer speculation. Not sure how you come to suggest he doesnt try, now thats loopy, certainly not mentioned by me. Every player tries their best, you see them all gassed at full time.
Wish he'd been more on his game and that goes to many of the players taking the piss for 3 months and we'd not be in the state we are. Playing for a transfer to further your career, now that's worth playing better..

Any scouts in the padded seats watching Kennedy? Seemed he wanted to be more involved than some other games lately, notably StMirren where he was out of sorts.
It's disappointing to take a point, but at least we did. Reckon earlier in season we'd have lost that game. Just demonstrates the good effort by all in the last month to lift us from bottom. Last 2 home games being draws verse teams beside us isnt particularly good, thankfully offset with 2 wins on the road. Home record is abysmal, wonder if any half season tickets were bought by anyone?

He's trying to be dramatic.
Either that or he is as thick as pig shit, as both do deserve to be in the top league.
Hamilton deserve to be in the top league more than the Dundee teams. Fact, 2019.

After 14 games we had 11 points and just been skelped by Morherwell (a) the hostility was simmering nicely. Thought the writing was on the wall in some corners of the supporters. Pretty unexpected leap up the table, but very welcome. We arent a bad team.
now played 18 and got 19 and looking to finish 2019 off in style..

We still have 4 games against the OF or 6 if by a miracle we made top 6 so wouldn't get too excited about goal difference.
I am sure most of those around us have played at least 1 OF game more than us.
Those 2 games in hand, add those 6 points on our tally. Forget goal difference 2 wins from the games in hand and we're smokin! old firm will rest players v us.
Frustrating played OF once and -11 goal difference, we could be a lot neater otherwise.

Looking up? Steady on, I'll have a glance into top 6 and think it's not that far away, but I really enjoy the gap to bottom that bottom spot was ours on a full time basis for 4 months LAUGH OUT LOUD We just need to remain difficult to beat, and hope we take a chance that comes our way. Winning against teans around us is crucial for survival.

I don't think you can rule out anyone from Aberdeen downwards at this point. Things can change very quickly. Likewise, this might be seen as madness, but it would only take a couple of good results for us to suddenly be looking like contenders for a Top 6 place.
Thats what Killie and Hibs did, few decent results and they shot up the table, now they are inconsistent again.

Christmas league table, a gap has opened leading to the bottom 4 in a dog fight. Given we've been bottom nearly every week of the season, to sit 4 points above the drop place is good progress, its been hard watching till now and is only going to get harder with the anxiety and stress soon to kick in early 2020.

It is what it is, would you be shocked to see us go to Ibrox in March and scab a 0-0? You cant look too far ahead just now.
Yes, totally shocked. Ive stopped looking at goal difference this season. Just need em points. I doubt many, if any, teams will be worse goal difference than us. Its highly unlikely to improve. Slightly nervous of our next 2 fixtures... I'm not looking up the table yet, 100% looking below and we are 1 point ahead of playoff.

Our goal difference is masked just now. Probably add on another negative 5-8 on that for our games in hand.

We had a couple of half chances with MoH hitting the keeper in 2 minutes, good save and the one on one where lessons have not been learnt. Surely he should know a couple of skill options to score a goal. Reminded me of Kano's one on one in the league cup, and MoHs one on one last week.
Thought two teams set up not to lose, more so us. In warm up I watched our back 4 doing drills of heading long balls didnt expect to watch it for most of the game. StMirren playing long balls all game, predictably boring and having little effect. Time and time again, we allowed there defenders to pick out easy punts as we had little press up top.
Nothing between the teams in creativity, boring nil nil. Its was a awful game for top flight football, but a point is on the board which is important and at least we're becoming more difficult to beat.
Next game, same again and hope we turn a chance or 2 into a goal to win 1-0.

Revenge! I'm looking for another clesn sheet please. No mistakes, switched on. We'll create chances.
It feels like a cup tie, possibly a warm up to what we might expect after the split. We're in a basement battle, hope we don't get kicked off the park!

Tony Watt captain!
Tough question though, tend to forget the ones that didnt find any form.
-
Ross County injury time winner at home v Killie sucked! But if we can build momentum before the winter break should hopefully be sitting comfortably above the bottom 2. Just keep in mind our 2 games in hand v the ugly sisters will most likely dent the goal difference more. Looking forward to the next few games!! Keep it solid at the back!!

Take another draw. Should hopefully deal with their route one hoofball. Will we take any of our chances that come? That's the question..
Hearts are fragile, worse than us. Dont believe in this bounce from new management that gets banded around. I bet its less than 30% for new managers getting a win. Hearts are pish. The highlights I've seen of them at home, every away team has given them a good game in Edinburgh, a few unlucky not to take more points.
Love to see their fans turn on hem but thinking 2 teams scared to lose. Draw all over it.
Wasnae too far wrong earlier in week.. Love it! 3 points. What I like most is another tight defensive performance. You build a team from being tough, solid, no mistakes in the defensive unit, incl goalie.
Another game and we are steadily making ourselves difficult to beat. So glad we took a chance today. More hardwork this week needed for a harder test next week v StMirren, who've beaten us already so stick in and get revenge big style!
Braw, few bevvies tonight!

I recall comments by fans of good recruitment during summer. Can't say I was worried. Work in progress, doesnt always gel straight away. Can't legislate for players not performing on the pitch. Too many just missing their mojo. Need to get rid of the bad apples.

Steven McLean the ref. Wonder if he still gets invited to doo's at rugby park.
Well, that's sealed the defeat. We'll get a man sent off for good measure

Bell end levein tried that with Scotland and ended up 1-0 .
remember that
Aye, everyone remembers that, hence my stupid formation prediction and ultra defence v Killie. Avril gambled for a nil nil. I'm happy to gamble with no strikers in the team just to get 1 point. Cos it must be pretty certain we're getting zero points midweek. (Although we've seen before when we hold no hope, we get a win)

We've not scored against Kilmarnock since 2nd December 2017.
We have 9 goals against them in the past 6 seasons.
We've next to no chance here.
Ultra defence, get a nil nil
Shit 2019. Great Decade.

So many many highlights for the last decade. Wish it had been captured with today in mind. Wonder if Saints will run with loads of highlights to boost spirits for the next few months from the last 10 seasons.
What a decade indeed for Saints. One of the best teams in Scotland this last decade!
Saints should start taking snippets of highs over the next 10 year so in 2030 we can look back over the 20's.
