**** off Jim.

No. The situation we find ourselves in it's a horrendous deal. Financially it might make sense, but we're a football club and we are challenging for Europe and a cup, much more important than 500k.
-
Here, Gary McDonald could say that to me, but you're not a Scottish Cup winner so you're not allowed to make such disgusting suggestions thank you very much.
-
He's a Scottish Cup winner, he could stand in the middle of McDiarmid singing Rule Brittania while doing the red hand and I'd still never have any negative thoughts about him.
-
Cup games are quality because they're a one off and you know one bad day and you're out. Home and away legs would spoil it somewhat for the fans imo.
-
While I agree with you about David's team being far too ambitious, I'd argue Parkhead is pretty much the ideal place to go with experimental line ups, it's pretty much a free hit.
-
Can we use his full name please. *Scottish Cup Winner Gary McDonald.
-
He doesn't strike me as a confident man and he's not as young as May. This could be his only chance.
-
We've qualified for Europe 6 times in our history, why on earth would we not want that again this season? It's the highlight of the year.
-
I am actually baffled about the delay, the longer it goes on the less confident I am that we are getting them. Surely they can't go to Hibs?
-
I don't understand why there's even a discussion. Hibs are a shambolic club with shambolic fans, give us the tickets and make Tynecastle that bit more sophisticated and good looking for at least one afternoon.
-
Full time, great result.

I'm sure I was on my way to the original game when it was called off, seem to remember it absolutely battering down. A young boy scored in the rearranged game, can't remember his name but I don't think he ended up doing much other than that...
-
Being (very) kind let's say that 500 extra fans go if Hibs get them at (again being kind) £20 a pop. That's £10000 of which only 50% would go to Saints. To suggest Saints would actively **** over their fans for (a very generous estimate of) £5000 is lunacy.
-
My memory might be deceiving me, but I'm sure there was a lot more than 70 fans at Airdrie that night.
-
I don't understand the delay tbh, we've sold out, surely a phone call to say 'geez our extra tickets,' should take minimal time? Fair enough actually physically getting the tickets might take a couple of hours but the actual process of confirming we are getting them should take minutes. I wouldn't worry personally though tbh, no chance they'll turn down our request.

'He couldn't be arsed' is a nonsense. The pitch is atrocious, someone that loves to run with the ball is obviously not going to be able to play their natural game.

Saints v Killie. Scottish Cup 4th round
Ali91 replied to The ghost of Jim Morton's topic in Saints Chat
Looking very positive, I can't see Saints releasing such a positive statement unless they were confident. -
Saints fans are class anyway, good looking and well natured. Hibs fans look like extras from Trainspotting. The less of them the better.
-
We should really hand our Scottish Cup to Hibernian. It's really not fair a club of their size and might haven't won it for 114 (one hundred and fourteen) years while a diddy club like us won it two years ago. We don't even have any fans to celebrate it.
-
The semi final at Hampden would have ruined the match and day experience considerably. I mentioned it on p+b but it took us three days of season ticket sales and seven on general sale to sell out the Roseburn for the Aberdeen game. Every Saints fan that wants a ticket will get one, I'm absolutely convinced of that.
-
I'm teetotal now, just going for an orange juice and a good, fair game of football. May the best team win. Na, I'm back on it as of the 30th, don't sweat son.
-
I tend to go to the Roseburn bar and turn right down that street, normally plenty parking down the side streets there at the weekends.

Adam Morgan at Hamilton was a different league of ineptitude.
