Who do we play in the final 5 games?

A valid question. Do we even have any of those? I have no idea, but considering the turnover of Physios over the last 2 or 3 years which could match the playing staff turnover I'd have my doubts.
Just give them Tangin or other opioids and they'll run like stallions

Motherwell are my natural enemy. Their stadium is crap, the pub across the road is totally crap.

They always talk well at these things. Macca sounded like Pep Guardiola. It's their training.
Maccas not from Barcelona, but I get what you mean... Macca trying to speak Spanish is like sending him to the moon...

Not sure Dodds worked out well. I seemed to remember he missed a sitter at Motherwell on the last day of the season and we were relegated.
I am sure Geoff got his £500 grand and maybe more from Aberdeen.
We got around 800 grand for Dodds, so I'm sure GB got his money back...

I refer to it as the McDiarmid curse... We've been crap at home for years.. away games alright. I get our tactics are counter attack, but it's a 3 pointer for away teams. Sell to the American lot and let them develop the land, build a new stadium and just maybe the curse of McDiarmid will be gone... It served it's purpose well in the early years

I think this debate is a bit nonsense. To me it comes down to transfer budget... Totten had decent backing, so did GB's favourite, Sturock. So much so he forked out half a million for Dodds. That worked out well. But the other managers have had it tough on a shoestring... And now we're relying on loans for a squad... I still want to know where the money for MCann is going to drop... Crap piece of business by saints

Pleased to see the club doing something to mark this occasion. As it's going to be on a Saturday in November, if we have a home game on that day I'd really like to see the 2014 team brought out onto the pitch too.
To this day it pisses me off that the city of Perth itself did nothing to commemorate the day. No plaque, no statue, no piece of art, nothing renamed. Just absolutely nothing.
You forget about the mysterious Freedom of Perth.... Pathetic.

Let's hope scans show no tear to the ligament and it's just bruised. On the plus side, we have plenty of attacking options to prove themselves...

I think we're barking up the wrong tree with opinions on retractable roofs/ fixed roof... I wouldn't be surprised if they put in the dreaded astro turf....

Perth Porn Saints? Well, there'd certainly be more "faked" than those other fake Saints in the west. May learn how to go down to con the referee. The shirts and shorts could be interesting. Stockings?
I'd rather settle for a conscientious owner like Geoff. One who puts the club first. More modern outlook on communications, investments into the ground. I hope this is positive and done quickly so we can move on from what seems limping along.
GB has done his time... Rescued us. No one knows what the horizon is... But I want pom-pom girls.... Hopefully not on day release from prison...

Knowing some of those who sit in the West stand, I'm not so sure! Mind you, they could relay it to the twits who sit in their VAR booths and it would stop them watching the game!
So we want American porn stars,as opposed to pom-pom girls??? Would certainly increase attendance... 😃

Make it into a mini Sin Vegas....

I must get myself down to Specsavers. At first I read the last paragraph as porn-porn ladies!
I'm not sure if it's still there, but there was an advertising board on the West Stand, near the dugout, which read " Saints 3, Real Madrid 2... Get your eyes tested at Specsavers" .
As for porn-porn women, PRI couldn't cope with the heart attacks in the West stand... 😀

I will say this, Americans know how to market their investments. But it will take time. I just hope they treat Saints with respect, as GB effectively put his heart and soul into the club and saved us from oblivion.
I think appointing CL was good. He is experienced enough to deal with potential American owners. No offence to Macca, but he'd be lost. As for the land? I don't mind an acre or 2 being given up, whether it be a hotel, supermarket or whatever. But it would require major infrastructure works for access etc.
I look forward to seeing the investment... Facilities, marketing etc. and pom-pom ladies pre match and half time. Bit of entertainment to wake up the West stand.....

Well in fairness, (and it is unsettling), there's a lot of very rich Americans that like to have something "different" . Bit of a boast and ego. They can't buy into NFL, baseball, basketball etc. so we're cheap. And there's the Wrexham factor. And even the Ted Lasso series. For some reason it's a sign of wealth to own a club on the other side of the pond. So in Geoff's parting gift... I hope he's right. God bless America

Well my fiancé is American and is excited... If it goes ahead, it would be great to have some pre-season games over there... Instead of Ireland. Or Dingwall. I presume this negotiation involves an American consortium? Be interesting who else is involved in this apart from the legal dude..

One thing for sure is it won't be a Russian oligarch. Due diligence takes months, and a strategy going forward longer. I'd be surprised if any change takes place before season's end. American investors seem most likely, football is on the rise in the US, billionaires are bored of cosy basketball and baseball franchises. We're exotic (!!!) Love to see whomever attend a cup game at Stenny
