He shouldn't have played in that game. He only been at the club 1 day so didn't the players or our style of play. That was a bad decision. We all saw the impact he had once he started to gel with the team and gain match fitness. Would love to see him back in a saints shirt this season, but whether that happens.

Went for MOH. embarrased their left back all night. didn't thnk we used this strength enough in the game. Muzz was once again awesome. Throws himself at everything. 100% committed. Great to see a natural goalscorer in Cummins aswell. Though he had a good game for his first start

So after having time to reflect on the game. Obviously disappointed not to get anything from the game. BUT, have a lot of promise for his season. I thought when w had the ball we looked good and wanted to get the ball forward and score. THe biggest thing last season was our scoring. Being the second lowest scoring team in the league is not a great status to have, so start this season with 3 goals away from home is step in the righ direction. The defence was not great yesterday but it was a young defence with no experience playing wih each other. We know our team is normally always strong defensily, so once we get a bit of experience and a leader in the likes of mckay and ando in there I know we won't shp goals like that. All in all, llooking forward to next week and hopefully see plenty of goals for Saints this season. Lots of competition up top wih both Sutton and Cummins scoring. Be interesting how Tommy manages the strikers to keep them happy

Went for Shaughnessy. Obviously wasn't the bet defensive peformance but don't think he was realy at falt for any of the goals. His throws provided 2 of our goals. 1st time in a long time I can remeber Saints having someone who can produce a dangerous throw like that. Should get us a few goals this season

Interesting we had the 5th highest average attendance out of the premiership last season. Motherwell and Kilmarnock are suffering more every year. Motherwell should surely be most worried considering they were finishing 2nd and there attendances were still dropping

For a team that are predicting to be up challenging celtic for the league. They aren't doing too well against a league 2 side at the moment. Will obviously be changes to their team on Saturday but they still have starters playing tonight. Play like we know we can and we will win this and get this season up and running.
