Following last nights wins over Super League opposition for both teams Jeanfield will play promotion rivals Lochee United in the final of the GA Engineering Cup at Tannadice on Saturday May 14.
Swifts won the competition in 2012 & 2013 but neither of these finals were held at Tannadice.  Lochee won it in 2014 with a victory on penalties over Luncarty in the 1st final to be played at the soon to be Championship ground.
This should be a close encounter with both teams still having lots to play for in the league aswell.
I will post more details regarding prices etc once I get them but it would be great for us to have you backing us at Tannadice.
 

The game finished 1-0 to Swifts with player manager Ross Gunnion scoring the goal early in 2nd half.
 
 

Wednesday night sees 2 promotion contenters go head to head at Riverside Stadium.
Swifts are 3rd while Lochee are 4th while both sides having 6+ games in hand on 2nd place Haddington.
With no SPFL, Champions League games etc on why not head down to Riverside and support the Swifys as they aim for Super League promotion.
Always.good when its a Dundee team too who will bring a large support through to cheer them on.

Swifts are 3rd in the league, 7 points behind but have 2 games in hand on their Fife Counterparts.

Jeanie entertain Dalkeith Thistle this week at Riverside Stadium in the East Region Premier League.
 
Swifts are still top of the league while the visitors are in a wee bit of slump but a positive resu;t for them will put them back in the hunt.  They are a dangerous side who have recently changed manager and will be fired up for this game so Swifts will have to be on top of their game.
 
With last weeks game called off the Perth side played Glenrothes in a friendly and came home with a 6-2 win with all the squad getting good game time with several putting their names forward for a starting jersey this week.
 
So if you dont fancy a trip to the granite city then head on down the Riverside & cheer on the Swifts as they look for promotion to the Super League.

Bonnyrigg have told us that they are bringing 2 bus loads up with then plus you have to add on a few more to that so around 100 or so fans.
Get yourselves down to Riverside Stadium & support your local team as they look to progress to the next round.

Jeanfield entertain Kirrie Thistle at Riverside Stadium is a match that both clubs will be looking to win.

Swifts home form has been poor this season with only 1 win and 1 draw from 7 games compared to only 3 defeats at Riverside in the previous 2.5 years!!!

Kirrie started well this season but have tailed off a bit but will be looking to prey on Swifts lack of confidence at home this season.

Jeanie will have strongest squad available this season with only the long term injured pair of Ross Gunnion and Tony Holt not available to manager Gavin Price.
