  1. Will Jim Weir still be here?? Noticed on Monday that TC was doing the coaching with OC.
  2. I don't think the majority could care less. They are more interested in a winning team than anything else. It is also very difficult when, as Duff says in the letter, you have a majority shareholder, I think it would cause more problems as you would get more debates on here about the Club and geof not listening. Ayway you wouldn't like the board meetings, as I doubt if you wouldn be able to stand
  3. The enterprise and culture committee of the Scottish parliament hav been looking into Scottish football and how it is run, a number of Clubs and individuals have made submissions. Saints submission is attached, quite interesting with regarrds to Saints view on Clubs being relegated for going into administration and fans involvement in clubs. http://www.scottish.parliament.uk/business/committees/enterprise/inquiries/sfi/fie_pt02_St%20Johnstone%20Football%20Club.pdf
  4. You don't really need to be mystic meg to make that prediction Calinho
  5. Have to admit that I missed Brechin the laast time we played there. Travelled from Edinburgh to Alloa picked up my father and then travelled all the way to Dundee, took the wrong road and ended up in Montrose and then drove all the way home arriving home at 4.30. returned home rd faced and feeling a complete doughnut.
  6. Was the match played on the fieldturf?
  7. So desperate that the men at Asda that negotiated the deal never negotiated anything after that. Asda was the most expensive supermarket per square foot in the country.
  8. We have been down this road so many times now that it is getting tiresome. The Club are taking this up with the Company and if you want them to dump XARA then it will cost the Club a lot of money as they would have to but their training kit and playing kit all that they get free at present. The strip will be out by Xmas.
  9. They are certainly IMHO not doing that. What exactly do you want them to do?? Tell us!!
  10. Can I ask on waht basis you are saying this. I think that the commercial side is speaking for itself in that the profit made from it are supporting the CLub. We have a thriving conference centre, games all sponsored a major company sponsoring us and local companies sponsoring the youth set up and the Club mini bus. Other than pulling money out of thin air what is he not doing. The commercial directors name etc is on the Club website.
  11. Are you sure about the Wiseman story. Geoff has already stated that the only offer he ever had was from a property developer and had his doubts about the reasoning behind it. Neither of the wisemans are AFAIK even into football. As for letting them know people aren't happy what do you want them to do?? for god sake give Coyle time!!!!!!!!!
  12. lets get real here the 4 teams you mention are in the SPL or Premiership and can afford a helluva lot more than Saints. the money these Clubs can invest is significantly more than us and the standard of youth player they attract is greater than us. You mention journeymen pros, and then mention Kane, Dasovic etc, these guys could well fall into the journeymen category.
  13. Right an ex Celtic player as manager of Rangers
  14. I have heard it said about teams and the style of play but for the first time I think you can say it about the fans! Wasn't on last night but I could have very successfully predicted the threads that would be appearing and the content of a lot of the posts and dare I say it the posters. Even worse is that if you compare what is getting said today and last night with that said the last time we drew or lost a home match we should have won then there is little difference. Think of the following: How many times had that team played together as a complete unit? How many first team players have been carrying injuries or illness? When was the last time we had a full squad training for a full week? No we are not the finished article et and yes we have afair way to go but for god sake lets stop hitting the panic button every single time we drop points. If we have a full squad back on the training field and are not producing the goods then yes have a go at them then, but until then cut them some slack for god sake.
  15. IMHO Sheridan has been the player of the year so far. breaks up play starts it gets players going overall a player we could not have done without. STGAZ have you never thought that with the beanpole in the box you should be floating in a cross for him to try and get his head on to it, as for being predicatble i think we had 3 freekicks today where he tried short balls or wee chips into the are etc. Someone said this before but I think the role that he plays at Saints is very similar to the one played by Lennon at Celtic and dare I say it Riley at Saints last year. Without SHeridan in the team we woudl be a lot worse off than we are at present.
  16. Were the queues not mainly for the season ticket holders at the first turnstiles? Was the delays due purely to the ice or had something else happened, when we turned up there was an ambulance coming down and the stewards were flaffing abou a bit. All a bit strange that they opened the stand in that condition. It would have been a lot safer to have put everyone into the mainstand.
  17. I have a feeling it might be Terry Butcher. I hear it might be worth a bet for anyone that likes a flutter.
