  1. Got mine yesterday, looking forward to reading it. I'm pleasantly surprised that it contains a section on the Luzern tie as well.
  2. Just got mine as well. It boggles my mind how you managed to get this done so quickly after the cup final. From the preview this book looks great.
  3. In all fairness Minsk shouldn't have been a loss. From the sounds of it though Trnava deserves this win.
  4. Yeah, sometimes it just isn't your day. Luckily that wasn't the case during the Final
  5. From twitter feed: Tonights Saints team Mannus, Mackay, Wright, Millar, MacLean, Wotherspoon, Miller, Brown, Croft, Easton, O'Halloran May isn't even on bench, but Kane is.
  6. The official twitter feed is pretty good about updating. Sad that we have to resort to this though
  7. Any update on attendance figures? I'm hoping the Scottish Cup win has increased interest a bit.
  8. No need to rush, but is there any update on this? I'd be interested in seeing the buildup and celebrations.
  9. Absolutely gutted that I didn't get to meet any of you during the Cup final weekend. I had the flu and didn't want to spread the germs, haha. Still made it to the game though
  10. May didn't seem bad at all, he walked off with only a slight limp which went away eventually. Miller limped off, but under his own strength. Apparently May's sub is only precautionary, Miller's I'm not sure.
  11. Missed penalty by May. Hope it doesn't affect his confidence.
  12. Rare stream available for this match But my heart skips a beat any time anyone gets tackled, this can't be good for me.
  13. With all the attention seemingly focused on people flying in from abroad, it's posts like this that remind us all of who this match is really for: the long-time fans who have been supporting the team for decades. I'm only a new supporter of Saints, and given the success in recent years, I suppose that makes me a glory-hunter. It's guys like you that have sustained the club through good times and bad. Nice to see that this match is creating a buzz in the hearts of Perth and its supporters.
  14. Wow, thanks for all the help! I appreciate it. It looks like I'll have no problems getting to Tulloch from where I'm staying (or McD for that matter). Worst case scenario I can always run there, as I'm a fairly fit guy. I'm looking forward to meeting some of you in person
  15. Thanks for the prompt replies. I'll be staying in Perth for most of the week prior to the match, with one night in Inverness in between. Just my luck that the train system breaks down on the most important day of the trip :/ I'll try emailing the club to see if they're organizing any buses to the match. I can always take a roundabout route super early or something I guess.
  16. Any buses travelling from Perth City Centre? I'm flying in from Vancouver, and it's my first time in the UK, so I have no idea wtf I'm doing.
  17. Well, I've gone and done it - canceled the wedding plans. I've booked the hotel in Perth, but I haven't booked the flight yet. Looking into making this a vacation and adding other destinations. Should be graduating this semester, so why the hell not? It's a bit costly, but I figure I'd rather risk flying all the way over to see Saints lose than to risk not being there to see them win! It's a moot point anyways though, we're going to win it, I can feel it...
  18. I'm strongly considering flying in from Vancouver. I've never been to Scotland, so I could make a vacation out of it. The only hiccup is that it's on the same weekend as a friend's wedding. I'm currently debating whether or not to bail on him, I'm not sure it would be very polite of me to do so :/
  19. Yeah, if there's any doubt about the effectiveness of these videos, they've made a fan out of me despite the fact that there's pretty much no realistic reason for me to be a Saints fan. I've contributed financially to the club by buying merchandise/programmes, so that's at least SOME income generated
  20. Your videos worked on me =) The Eskisehirspor video is what really got me supporting St. Johnstone.
  21. Perhaps have the pre/post-match interviews and player profiles, etc. free, while live youth matches and delayed first team matches as premium content? As much as I'd like live streaming, not only would it affect TV deals, it might actually affect gate receipts. After all, if someone is already paying for a streaming service, there is less incentive to pay money to actually go to the game itself. I wouldn't mind having full matches delayed, though. It would actually help me out sometimes, since getting up at 4AM to watch a live stream isn't easy =/ Delayed matches would at least give me a way of watching the team perform, rather than just watching highlights. For instance, I've been hearing Steven MacLean's performance was excellent, but highlights packages won't be able to do him justice since he didn't score a goal.
  22. Would be nice to see the "Bristling with Possibilities" book there too, but apparently it's really rare.
  23. Yikes, haha. Guess the Old Firm teams aren't too popular outside of Glasgow. What about St. Mirren? I'm just curious, as a new fan I'm trying to soak up as much of St. Johnstone's "lore" as I can.
  24. I would GLADLY pay for a service like Rangers TV/Celtic TV, especially if it included youth team matches and whatnot. Not sure why it hasn't been done, perhaps the TV deal prevents it? I agree, following a game on the BBC website sucks.
