Those in the know say better prepare for arctic conditions most of december. Could be a few games off if it all comes off? Get a tenner on a white xmas now before the press get a hold of the story:wink:
  11. Game at pittodrie in the mid 80s. Left muirton at 11am nice sunny day bus journey up to aberdeen, parked at the usual spot at the bottom o the hill. It was cold and crisp and we all walked over the hill past grave yard and down into the old away end(now rd stand). Now if i remember correctly we were 3-0 down when it got very very dark and began to snow just before half time which ended at 3:45i sh, and by 3:55 ish the pitch was coverd in snow and it was blowing an allmighty blizzard (The 80s type!!).The ref came out and abandend the game, as the lines filled in as quick as they cleared them(saints fans still belting out tunes). Just as the tanoy man said to leave the ground there was a power cut in the whole east side of aberdeen so 3or400 saints fans were lead out by the police and back up that hill.Well i kid you not i will never forget the rest as we all batteld our way in 6ft drifts to the bus which took nearly an hour to make it,s way up the hill to the outskirts of aberdeen. We made it to around the high point south of stonehaven then got stuck in deep snow drifts,we were there for hours as power lines fell with blue flashes like lightening as they fell with the weight of snow. One side of the bus was coverd up to and over the tops of the windows it was so deep. Eventually as the whole bus kept warm with war like shareing of food and refreshments, snow ploughs and police got us and a number of cars and vans out.(We got out to help a car out of a ditch) We got back to muirton around midnight and headed to the chippy to recall our story of the day. ALL IN THE NAME OF STJFC :: WE"LL SUPPORT YOU EVER MORE !!
  12. Thanxs larky. i,m in the bottom pic "nice and slim"
  13. Correct but no more than a fiver. Listen son. Most kids at muirton either climbed in or got a lift over the gate and kept ther money for a pie(fae murrays) if they had any. I am talking under about 12 ish. Kids about 5 or six watch the game for about 20mins then get board and then there belly kicks in and again in the second half. They run around piss- pie- juice -piss- pie- juice. that,s how it works young man. Once you get a bird at learn what to do you may then understand. Kids free again lke the old days i say!!
  14. The day st.johnstone football club contracted catering out ended the age old "DADS AND THERE LADS" go to the game. Why? as i,ve been bleeting on about for two years. Two pounds odd for a carton of ribena and another 3 or 4 quid for some crisps and chocolate? add that to the entrance fee and say you have 2 or 3 kids like me!! That,s a dear day. ST. Johnstone fc need to take the lead and stop pandering to the season ticket holder(wish i was one) as they will be there thick and thin. Look after the guys who cant go every week and let the bloody kids in free and the crisps and ribena wont seem as bad as it is. Or tell those twats on security to bog off and let me take the kids juice in and i will pay the entrance fee. 101 says saints are a buisness like tesco. Tesco take a loss on ribena at 3 for a pound. Why ? to get punters in the door.!!!!!!!! Wake up saints! See you for my first game of the season v killie. Without the kids. xxx
  15. So dumpdee fc totaly F-ck-d and £2m in the red. Yes? Next DUFC almost but not yet (soon) screwed 3m in dept yes? Mmmm what could we do here to salvage some kind of hope for these two well run clubs? Well f.a as the half human poor soles who run these sad cases could not come out from there one track sad little minds with the only answer. .... ..... should not have received the sack.! But still GB IS GOD! THANK GOD!
  16. Then some pr--ks in yellow jackets run up and down screeming : "sit down sit down shut up shut up" GBRA good man you go for it............... Kids in free still costs me a tenner!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  17. Anybody reading this IS a die hard. Well done you all. It only takes one game .........!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  18. This thread and other recent threads are the reason why there were only 3300 saints fans at the first home game of the season.Prices should reflect the product on and off the park, and hoofing the ball up the park instead of sexy soccer on the deck will send a couple of hundred into the town with there other halfs next home game. They should be bringing there other halfs with them and there kids.Who if under 8 should be FREE . Then they may not mind spending £5(each) on a wee peice of bread with a sausage on it and some flat coke.
  19. The TESCO DOME wont have that problem. Due to it,s shape...
  20. Is this not a it,s f-cki-g dark outside thread?
