THE LARK SAINT
We arrived at Kinross with a squad of 17 with Lee Kelman, Gareth Stewart, Craig Fotheringham and Gregg Aitchison all dropping out due to other commitments, while Rory Flood, Stewart Reid, Stuart McDonald, Mark Smith and Eric Laing came into the Squad for the first time this season. Si it was a quick change and out to the Park! The rush was because the pitch was double booked and we had to start our game early, anyway the only reason i mention this at all is because despite counting 17 names in the changing rooms and naming the starting 11 only 10 arrived at the pitch side for Kick Off time, Paul Leaver had somehow got himself lost and a quick adjustment had to be made with Elvis called up from the bench to take Paul's place Only Paul Leaver could manage this eh? The game began with the opposition storming into a 3-0 lead in the first 20 minutes. we began to settle down a little bit and came more into the game before the half time oranges but The Cally would still add another goal, so we trooped of the pitch with the half time score 4-0 We had a real purple spell in the second half and had two or three chances with Stuart McDonald and Ronnie Smith hitting shots just wide, Stuart would also put one away to make it 4-1 However just when it looked like some sort of come back was on the cards the game ran away from us and the Cally went on to win the game 8-1 Thanks to John and the Cally guys for the game and the hospitality!Great turn out from our squad with only two players not attending from the 17 man squad Ormond Saints:Craig Taylor, Steve Taylor,(Paul Leaver) Nathan Bartlett,(Eric Laing) Andy Muir, Brian Campbell,(Rory Flood)Dave Robb, Ronnie Smith,Cal Kennedy, Chris Gunn,(Stuart Mc Donald)Joss Marnoch,(Neil MacDonald)Stewart Reid(Mark Smith) Managers Man of The Match-Andy Muir Opposition Man Of The Match-Stewart Reid Edited August 22, 2011 by THE LARK SAINT
