It must be.

We wouldnt send our first team players to a cup like this.

It ill be under 16/17s.

Bearing in mind it's a Saturday and the first team have a game.

Some good players at Kinnoull though, a few ex St Johnstone youth players.

Wouldn't imagine even any fringe first teamers would be left behind for this tourney though.

St. Johnstone were contacted midweek for a squad list for the matchday programme and those players were listed. Most of the Saints squad will be youth players but some of the first teamers may feature, most likely on the Sunday.

Young Saints team got beat by Kinnoull this afternoon.

Pretty sure it was 4 - 0 but it may have been 5 and I missed a goal !

Ex - saint Martin Maher had a decent game for Kinnoull.

Programme does list all those players but the only player I recognised was Steven Reynolds. Someone said a lot of the team were only 16.

Saints under 14's + Dorris 5 Luncarty 0

Dundee Northend 3 kinnoull 1

North end champs.

1 first team player SainteeG?

What happend to Moon, Swankie, Anderson, Weatherston, Peaso and Sheerin.?SLEEP IN?

Like I said before I only passed on the information I was given.

Moon is currently injured but was there spectating, Sheerin was on the touchline today along with Tommy Campbell. Spoke to some of the parents who were there today and the majority of boys were 15 or 16. The young Saints looked alot better today than yesterday, quick and moved the ball about well.
