  1. Shame then that they get our best players like HH and Spoony when we could have made more use. I played park fitba with both Hegarty bros. Mind Paul came back and helped saints out, no idea where that flashy b Kevin ended up?
  2. Ach it just strikes me that the managers who pulled us out of the doldrums did it with hard training. Ormond didn't let them have balls to play with it was just physical stuff. Sturrock stopped them going to the pub in the afternoon and made them train instead, some said too much but the results say otherwise. Yes Saints are a minnow but David slew Goliath and we've been near that at times too. Get them trudging up and down the dunes in the off season. As to who's a fan? We should welcome anyone who wants to be, maist o' us are Scots so we are used to crushing disappointment at best. I've stuck it for 60years now and while there is still breath in my body I will carry on. Proud of Perth and the saints. If by shiteheap you mean Muirton watch yer mooth. Despite haeing to pee on half bricks it had the best and biggest pitch in the country. I've only been to a funeral at Mcdiarmid but to me it lacked atmosphere/history. I must rectify that by coming up for a game soon.
  3. Blast Toon beat Wolves 3-0! Have to avoid the happy Maggies...
  4. I think that is whipping someone
  5. Hey I think Levein suits us right now. And may he be a modern day Willie Ormond please Mr Football God? Oh for those days of the 60's again and playing park fitba with Paul and kevin Hegarty
  6. Aye I can see that despite not having lived there in over 60 years I knew the town well from summer holidays with grannies and aunts and uncles. fishing in the Ardle and Blackwater was good too.
  7. aye so how would you have received Willie Ormonds appointment then?
  8. it is amazing that one who always thinks their current partners will be eventual ones should think twice/
  9. UUMPHHH it's doon the leagues at this point. Which part of 'get training' did no- one at saints actually get? repeat a successful strategy for goodness sakes. Many signings havnae lived up to their billing either But they'd still be good if they were fit enough to fight for a first team place second division again!
  10. No obligation to be fit type contract?! I'm sure he is brilliant but needs fitness to progress. Feels like it is not a happy ship all in all.
  11. How long is training nowadays? From the ground breaking all day of Luggy to probably about 10minutes now? Maybe they should have fines if players don't train properly? Or does the whole thing need re-invented Why not just copy a Willie Ormond training session I'm a hypocrite saying that as my fitness regime has fallen away somewhat. I believe Ormond didn't allow balls at training, no matches just PE.. Could absence make the heart grow fonder??
  12. Looks like another lost year. Glad my shipment from Stewarts Brewing arrived today
  13. Aye and I doubt I'd get in for 3D at the boys gate either!
  14. I haven't been to a saints game in decades but I always thought May was a modern incarnation of Kenny Aird? A super winger or Jinky of Celtic? Must get up there and not for another funeral.
  15. Doesn't take long to have he wind knocked out of our sails1
  16. So good to have some things to be optimistic about. A great keeper is an old tradition - Maclaren/Donaldson/Robertson/Clark / Mitov. Matchwinners.
  17. Just think if we'd had this social media stuff back in the 60's! It's all hot air garbage! The result is determined on the pitch and the training ground. The team is under preforming due to lack of fitness see luggy and Willie for direct evidence.
