If I was Sven (and let's face it, who wouldn't want to be him?) I'd have taken Darren Bent instead of Theo Walcott. What's the point of taking someone who has not played top-flight football EVER and you have no intention of playing, especially when one of your strikers broke a toe six weeks previously and was clearly not going to be fit, another who has been out for longer through serious injury and is far from regaining form and another who is a donkey who can only latch on to the odd long ball provided the defender has long hair for him to pull. If Walcott can't get a game in these circumstances then what was the point of taking him. I can't see him getting a game now, not unless England are 5 up with 2 minutes to go in the semi-final.

joking apart, a couple of other forums I'm on have locked the registration elements of the sites to stop spammers joining. In order to join genuine users have to e-mail an administrator requesting permission to join. Now I'm not one for erecting barriers and I hope I'm not being premature, but clearly some stiffer regulations are required to maintain some semblance of order. We can't have just any old Tom, d***, or Harry coming on here.
