Not sure how productive a Steve May loan would be to us at this particular time and in general how it would benefit May, If Preston are willing to let him go then he is not near the fitness standard to play for them so he is not fit enough to play for top 4/5 team in our league , so as said above blowing £80K-£100K of our budget to probably fight for 5th or 6th for me is a no brainer not worth it. For Steve he has a long way back yet!(Fitness wise), I have heard he is settled around Preston area has a house etc. etc.,I would imagine a more local football club to Preston could more than able to match what most Scottish club's can match financially.
