  1. Ade Akinbiyi, is this for real? He was pretty good a season ago! Any evidence?
  2. I think Gary Irvine has two serious problems, he dives into tackles and when he is attacking he appears to be nervous and cannot cross well? Correct me if I'm wrong but they seem to float in to the back post and the keeper collects them with no hassle. Unlike Grainger who bombs forward and zips the cross in at a decent pace for either a defender to make a mistake or strikers create a chance, as Kenny done yesterday. I thought Grainger played very well against Obua yesterday, until the final minute when he skipped passed him. Irvine done well to clear the ball off the line! Finally, I was impressed with Grainger going forward to support Morais by overlapping or taking the ball when he was under pressure.
  3. I'm pretty sure it was 'THATS WHY IM ****ING HERE!' Well thats what we agreed anyway.
  4. watched the 'The SPL show' on Sky Sports 1 at 6:30pm, was really good. Made the Scottish league look good.
  5. I have noticed that when Morais and Sammy play then Swankie is involved. When we put on Doc and Savo he was out on the wing not involved. I have seen more guts and involvement from Swankie in the pre-season games, N. Ireland especially, give him a chance.
  6. Hmm what about? His name is Paul Sheerin The king of the North He plays at McDiarmid Just South of Kinross He drinks all the whisky, The Famous Grouse Paul Sheerin's In the house Na Na Na Na I heard Aberdeen sing it, they called it the beach end boys song?
  7. Person: Doctor Doctor I think I have 59 seconds to live Doctor:Wait a minute please!
  8. I would love to see the good Doc, Morais and Djebi Zadi in a saints top next season as in the past they have always been impressive when I have seen them.
  9. Totally agree! He NEEDS confidence, I remember him being nervous in his first game against County and the fans jeered him then! He's only young and the reason for a Scotland Cap must surely mean something? I think if he had a decent run of games the lad would show the fans how good he really is.
  10. Last I heard he was at Abroath 19's and got sent off for a silly tackle, I think he felt he was better than their set up and is still looking for a club in the tayside area..
  11. I've heard the same and that he may consider a coaching role with Dundee United.. Anyone else heard this? I think McLean just needs a confidence boost, when I met him he was confident he would break into the first team. If he does go.. what about Kasper Schmeichel? I remember when he played for Falkirk, does anyone know where he is know?
  12. To be fair, the managers we had at that time never gave him a chance and that goal he scored against ICT was the best saints goal i've ever seen
  13. Well he's versatile according to Wikipedia: Holden is nominally a right back but can also play as a centre back or left back. He occasionally played in central midfield while with Peterborough, largely due to the absence of Paul Carden. Anyone seen him play?
  14. QUOTE: On the subject, where in Perth does name printing on shirts. I've got my old 1997 (I think) top (the one Roddy wears in Noose's avatar) and I want either Roddy's name or Nick Dasovic on it. I know County Sports at Bridgend used to do it but is that place even still open? I used SprinterZ of Perth Derek and they were really fast and at a good price The number is 08454756905 or they have a website www.sprinterz.co.uk
  15. I really want to hear the Collin Samuel song to 'Baby Give It Up' Originally done by Watford with Jobi McAnuff.
  16. Agreed for the third Ruti went up the pitch, hit a thinned pass, Savo back heeled to keep it in, QOS player cleared it up pitch and striker was left on his own to do the necessary. I feel sorry for Ando as in the first half he was asked to play left back and is not a left back, and Garters insisted on putting him under pressure by passing slack balls to him. Thought Sammy was the real positive player today.
  17. Absolutely, kick up the backside he needed, plus a manager who man-managed him. Would love to see him back here, superb game today, although it hurts to say it.
  18. You are right, he was never tested and should have got Homer's goal. He is too small, not for us.
  19. Quite a few going from Bankfoot, and bringing a few relatives from the North down, they need some sanity after following the Dons this season.
  20. Easy to say that when you are out of the race!!
  21. I can't see anyone taking the captaincy off of rusty.
  22. Thanks for your comments, however I have seen Gartland play
