Super League football comes to Perth on Saturday as last seasons Premier League winners Jeanfield Swifts open up their league campaign with a home game against Penicuik Athletic.
Strangely Penicuik were the visitors in 2012 when Swifts were presented with the flag for winning the now defunct Central League.
Swifts have lost Chris McLeish & Chris Dodd to Elgin City but have added winger Chris Scott to the squad whi have all signed up from last season.
The visitors head up the M90 with a new manager in the form of Johnny Harvey who was in charge of Haddington last season who inflicked 1 of only 2 league defeats on Swifts.
Kick off is at 2.30pm & there may be hospitality laid on by the club but that will be confirmed later on in the week.
Get on down & support Perths top junior side as they play their 1st ever season on the top flight on junior football.

After winning league cup section,winning there semi in Dundee last week Jeanfield Girls u17 won the league cup at the riverside in 
Dundee today v Forfar Farmington u17 with a well deserved 2- nil win in very hot conditions ,only down side in a tough fought match 
was 2 seperate occasions an ambulance required for girls 
Girls football is booming in Perth ,well at least in the Jeanfield corner

All roads lead to Blairwood Park in Oakley tomorrow night as Swifts head to West Fife looking to get the point required to win the East Region Premier League.
Following the weekend results Swifts have 2 games to claim that point & that starts tomorrow against already relegated Oakley United.
Why not head down & cheer on Perths soon to be Super League club.
On Saturday there was a larger than normal home support which we thrived on and had the game won after 45 minutes.  The players were delighted with the backing received & would be delighted if we took larger than normal numbers to Fife.
We have been informed that should we get the point required that we will receive the league championship tomorrow too.

Folks ahead of the Champions League Final on Saturday why not head on down to Riverside Stadium as Jeanfield play their last home game of the season versus Dalkeith Thistle.
3 points for the Swifts will ensure promotion to the Super League for next season.
This is a huge game for the Perth club whose bottle has been questioned all season by a certain poster on Pie & Bovril who despite being at all the home games seem to want the Swifts to lose!!!

We have however picked up 6 points in 2 games since then while other rivals have not won either of their 2 games meaning promotion & winning the league is now in our hands.
 
After Lochee @ Tannadice we have 2 home games on Wednesday v Kennoway Star Hearts then Forfar West End on Saturday.
