  1. the list Saints have on the Official site and the SFA differ. The SFA are showing a game against Stenhousemuir on 20th.
  2. It would be good to see how Dobbie got on in a fitness test against some of the folk that slag his size on here. I know who my money would be on

    Latapy at Falkirk??
  4. We never went ahead with an application for the indoor stadium as the rules which applied for the grant application changed and the height of the arena had to be the same as the floodlight pylons(30m) this would have pushed the cost of the steelwork alone to about £6m.
  5. When did Saints apply for planning permissio for a hotel?? They discussed the possibility that a hotel could be built at the top end of the car park but I didn't know we had ever put in a planning application, the other bit of the plan at taht time was for an indoor arena to be built on the ground behind the east stand.
  6. Chuck Thank you that was all I was aking. BUt is this fact or a rumour
  7. I was wondering if anyone else had noticed the sales centre at McDiarmid? It is at the top of the car park next to the right hand exit gate. You usually only see these things where they intend building houses.
  8. The SFA have a good Football Development programme in place at present and there are plans for the upgrading of sports facilities in conjunction with the executive. http://www.scotland.gov.uk/Topics/Sport/NationalStrategies/NRSFS
  9. Ronaldo a lot of good points but on the 3 above 1. In Forth vally we now have a football Development league operating with over 2000 kids playing in it. The game is thriving with more and more teams entering it, playing small sided matches up to 12 and then 11 a side from 12 to 18. 3. I think the problem is not playing competitive football and having this daft rule that when you get to 5 they go back to 0-0, Also in edinburgh from what I hear they have to have a spread of ages and so many girls in each team etc. Not ideal. 5. That is changing as the OF put more into the game, the Rangers and Celtic in the community schemes are both excellent. The worrying thing about them is, however, the sums being charged which are very steep. 6. The PFi schemes are helping with the number of floodlit astro pitches on the increase. There is, however, a lot more that needs to be done facility wise in this country.
  10. Portugal were the beter of the poor sides. Nice to see Sven and his band of merry men on their way home. I had heard last night that Trafalgar square had been booked for a victory parade on June 12 Maybe it'll be for Andy Murray to parade the Wimbledon trophy.
  11. All i've got to say to that is there is still plenty time for the squad to be added to, why so glum??? If this is still the case in 2/3 weeks time, then we can get on OC's back!

    LEGO Bible

Not now they have out sources production to Mexico and Czech republic.
  13. McConnell was asked a straight forward question by a reporter from Radio Clyde. He asked it as truthfully and as honestly as he coudl and actually said taht it hyad nothing to do with politics etc abd what he was saying he was saying as a football fan.
  14. He is only 20! Howarth is now in his second season as a senior professional as he provides cover for the likes of Jussi Jaaskelainen, Ian Walker and Ali Al-Habsi. And look at the quality of the keepers at the Club. The fact that he has been signed by them on a long term deal shows taht he must be showing some promise. It's okay saying loan deals are a bad thing etc but IMO it was Charlie Adams loan deal that won St Mirren the league last year.
  15. I think you'll find that other countries have as many fans at the world cup as england. Sweden had over 40k at a match, thye haven't had problems. The SNP IMO have nothing to do with it, I am in no way a fan of their policies or of the party but it makes my blood boil seeing England flags flying from a car running about in Scotland.
  16. That is only one of the differences taht is coming out of this story. BBC TV last night: Wee boy says that he was playing football when the man hit him. BBCTV website: says he was walking through the park with his family. BBCTV last night: the wee boy says he thinks that the man must have hit him due to his England strip. Later on there was a story saying that the man spoke to him about why he had an england strip on then hit him, in addition to which there was a story taht his dad got beaten up but his face looked okay last night on he tV.
  17. "I ran after him to ask why he hit Hugo. He then unzipped his jacket and was touching the crest of his Rangers shirt," the father said. "I couldn't believe this was happening." I think they'll get this boy he must stand out like a sore thumb, a Rangers fan that dislikes ENGERLAND I was actually doen in London on Wednesday on business and was amazed at the amount of England world cup stuff, every single shop had it in their window. There were taxis the lot going about with England flags flying(boy lost business as there was no way I waas getting into his CAB).
  18. If it's the same as the SYFA for last year: 1996 under 10 1995 under 11 1994 under 12 1993 under 13 1992 under 14 1991 under 15 1990 under 16 1989 under 17 1988 under 18 1989 under 19
  19. It's a strange one. The SYFA rules are January 1 but the English rules are August 1 I would suspect that the rules in the SFA will be January.
  20. I can only think he got it for: Captaining Rangers to 2 League Championships. 1/4 finals of the champions league Being captain of his country The work that he does with charities(although I don't know what ones)
  21. Does that make it car park football instead of stret football.
  22. like the collar on the away one. http://www.thedees.co.uk/index1.asp
  23. Notice that Dundee have been signed up by the newly resurected BUKTA. Given Saints previous links with the Company I wonder if XARA have a competitor on their hands for the next strip.
  24. I could get in from the Office this faternoon but not from home tonight.
  25. I was earlier than normal on friday so I probably just noticed them. They do work the boys quite hard at Falkirk, they are in on a Sunday morning for weight training as well as there normal weekly times.
