  2. score updates at work from the bbc website
  3. BBC has it as Peaso also 2 nil up should mean 3 points everytime
  4. Ok With the new one just around the corner, will there be any tinkering with the squad? Should we bring in anyone new Should we set a few of our squad players away Who would be a realistic target if we were to bring in anyone new? Who should be shown the door?

    LIVINGSTON FC

if they came into my coucnicl office and did that, none of us would have a job next week i agree a kick in the bum can do plenty of good, but there are better ways and means to do it lets hope GB decides that we dont need to copy those forward thinking Livi people

    The Ashes

I think loyalty to a few players may be the down fall of the aussie team Langer, McGrath in particular. Id have Phil Jacques and Nathan Bracken in for those two, but I suppose they have earnt the right for a bit of loyalty from the selectors. As for the time difference, welcome to the world of everyone here down under, at present a sat afternoon kick off over with you is now a 2am kick off sunday morning for a saintees match

    The Ashes

I have tickets for the first 3 days play of the new year test in Sydney, the fifth and final test Even though it is still 6 weeks off or so, I can feel a sore throat coming on, forcing me to miss a day or two off work My prediction is a 2-2 series draw with the soap dodgers retaining the ashes. For the Aussies to regain them, Warne has to take 30 wickets in my opinion, and Hayden, Gilchrist and Ponting are all going to have to score close to 500 each for the series
  8. out of interest what is the shop uluru all about? Uluru is the aboriginal name for Ayres rock down here
  9. agreed 100% I expected some kind of preaching, but by defending the actions of some groups, it is basically saying yes to the killing of innocent, man, women and children. I bet he would accept a knighthood from the queen though for his work with charities.
  10. another reason for the OF TGF, sorry for the abbreviations but its a nicer way of putting it
  11. Where is Miotto Alan Main for me, would of had a dozen caps or so if he played for anyone other then us
  12. The U2 concert had some pure magical moments the other night, but it was ruined for me, with Bono preaching to everyone about global warming, england out of ireland, terrorism, world hunger etc The music was great, but to have him lecturing to the auidience on why Irish people an the militant groups of the IRA have to keep the fight on going to earn their freedom was a bit OTT. A guy next to me asked me who was Bobby Sands as they showed pictures of him on the screen and a plaque in a cemetry and some pics of murals on walls with him on them. It was stuff like that, which took away from their brilliant musical sets
  13. what about the bit about not having a minute silence at the game. is there anywhere in the commonwelth that doesnt stop at the the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month not to remember? it is the done thing that it happens at sporting events on that day
  14. founded by a robber crims and dundee go hand in hand their low life routes run very deep it seems
  15. got a email from a dundee utd fan who recently quit work here and moved to Sth Africa and he said you have one hand on the trophy, he then said the headlines will read Rangers sign Savo
  16. I went for the cup For that one moment of seeing a saintee loft a cup for the first time in our history would be superb Promotion would be a nice booby prize if we dont win the cup
  17. well done thats a smashing time I did a 8km fun run down here two weeks ago and ran it in a tick over 27 mins, for you to do that time in those conditions, crowds etc is awesome
  18. Listening to the sound bites on the bbc site a couple of things were evident 1. OC really seemed as he was expecting this tonight, he was calm and spoke well and gave us credit even when they were saying that rangers were poor. 2. Le Looser or what ever else he goes by these days, he is a "dead man walking", the prick not once mentioned our performance To have dignity in defeat is always hard, to have dignity when winning is twice as hard. Let's hope we can get a few more people out to the games now and get behind our team's double winning aspirations.
  19. listening to the chant of saintees we love you, as the players started to walk accross to the fans had the hairs on the back of my neck standing up prouder then a honeymooners tackle brilliant stuff

  21. Yeah they are kiwis, but Neil has lived in melbourne since he was 22, and he took out aussie citizenship about 5 or so years ago Crowded house which was basically a spin off from Split Enz was formed and based in Oz If they are good we will claim them, if they are shite they are kiwis
