Agreed. Quite often the wealthiest folk are also the tightest in my experience.

Do you not have it on video?

I think we'll be looking at 6500-7000 on Thurs regardless of the price. Even if they reduced it to £18. FC Minsk aren't as big a name and because of that I don't think we'll see as many neutrals there

How many people could afford £24 and not £25 Dave? That £1 isn't a game changer. It's not like we're charging £32 or something like that. The club don't owe the fans, having to shell out money on occaisions like this is a good thing and should be seen as such. I'd rather be paying £30 to watch Saints in Europe than spending £15 to watch us play East Fife in the Ramsdens Cup.

Hearts was financial mismanagement. Rangers was on a different level. Double contracts etc. All swept under the rug by the powers that be
-
Brilliant PR from the club. How many Hearts fans came purely for that reason?

Imagine in 15 years time when we're back in the first. "I never went to one of the biggest games in our club's history because they were charging an extra £1" Facepalm

I hope your first sentence was in jest. There was no relaxing out there, what you witnessed was the "European Hangover". We were fecked for the last 20-25 mins and were extremely lucky to be playing such a poor side

Can't believe folk are moaning about this. The club have got to make inroads into the deficit that playing away in the "European" backwater of Belarus has cost us This is a money maker for St Johnstone and must be treated as such, the club can't afford to drop prices to £20 for this. That would be 20% and I guarantee you that the extra 20% off wouldn't inprove the crowd by the same percentage. There may be 2-3% that decide not to come because of the increased price but I think you need to take a long hard look at yourself if you're not prepared to pay the cost of a pie more than the previous leg to see your team play in one of the biggest games in .their history. I appreciate there will be people who can't afford to go but they would be the same at £24, £25 or £26.

Using that perogative you must be delighted to see The OF, Man Utd, Barcelona and Real Madrid win because it pleases a lot of people. I might start supporting Scotland when the players can be arsed to sing the national anthem. I can't think of another country in the world where so few players bother to sing. The whole setup is an inconvenience to most of the players.

No chance, Hearts will be right up for it and scrapping for their lives. At most there will be a goal between the teams

I'm sure John Kennedy would agree

I wonder what boost this will give ST sales. Surely all this positivity has to have an effect?

We won't get one. The game is being televised after the Dinamo Minsk game on Belarussian TV. It needs to be on TV in order for us to get a stream.
-
Quite often streams are miles behind a radio feed. I'm not talking 2-3 seconds, sometimes it's 30-60secs and more! Hoodlum, the very nature of streaming means there's no guarantee of getting it. The person uploading it could have issues with their connection. I thought this game was on a delayed feed tonight in Belarus (thought I read 7.30 UK time), If that's the case I can't see us finding a live stream, maybe a delayed one at that time?

I think if this kind of ticket was open to everyone we would see a lot of lapsed/fair weather fans getting back into the habit of attending. If I was local i'd much prefer this sort of thing to a season ticket. It's easier in the short term to come up with £90 and once i'd bought my ticket i'd be more inclined to attend games.
