  1. Half of them announced it on their twitter anyway plus one of the boys who got released told me
  2. Not a massive fan of Liam Caddis although think some of the criticism is a bit harsh. Would be good seeing him after 10 games in a row or something like that. Scott Brown on the other hand is just an exceptional player which I love watching. Him over Lappin every week for me
  3. Just to clear things up about the Kerr twins if you haven't found out, Jason is centre back that has been on the first team bench a couple of times and Greg is the striker who has only featured a couple of times for the U20s
  4. Ally Gilchrist score a volley from outside the box and Kyle Lander scored after the keeper dropped the ball. Very good team performance. Craig Thomson had a good game and Brodie Gray and Paul Simpson were brilliant together in the middle of the park
  5. Dylan Easton had a poor game tonight. Subbed off for pushing and squaring up with an opponent
  6. All I can spot that is wrong with that is it says Matthew Aitken is a defender. Should be in the Forward section
  7. Ripping off celtic but would there be anything better than singing Craigie Whites Perthshire army
  8. Motherwell at home tonight 6:00pm kick off
  9. I know it's street parking but anyone know the best street tp park in. For the sat nav
  10. Think players like Easton and Craig Thomson could benefit from going out on loan and maybe Scott Wilson as well. This is called a developing league but can only do so much for players. They need to play first team as soon as they are ready. No point wasting them in these types of games. Also very impressed with the younger players like Rhys Evans and Brodie Gray both of which I think are about 17 so have a couple more years of developing at this level.
  11. Connor is from Aberuthven. Been at Cowdenbeath, Stirling Albion, Celtic and now us
  12. Sorry meant for winning the semi final
  13. I was told last year by one of the U20s last year that the two highest paid players at the club on £1400 pw were Alan Mannus and Stevie May because they were internationals and had been at the club a certain length of time. Also the bonus for winning the cup final was £5000 each for the first 11 and £2000 each for the players on the bench so who knows what winning the final would of got them
  14. Hopefully won't be too long before he gets back i the first team. Will be like a new signing. Also mean he is going to cut that mop on top of his head
  15. Playing Macca up top on his own did nit work at all. No support for him at all and we couldn't put 5 passes together in the first half. In the second didn't think we were that bad were very unlucky not to score and not get a penalty. Played a lot better with kane up top with Macca gave us a lot more options. Don't get too doom and gloom folks
  16. Mannus Mackay Anderson Scobbie Easton Millar Brown O'halloran Morgan Spoony Macca That would be my team but imagine McDonald will start over Morgan. Mackay will be able to play as we have appealed it
  17. To think the team got back from Slovakia on Friday and travelled to a hotel on Saturday to win this game was just brilliant. Must of only had a few hours training in preparation to this game. I'm very sorry to start the Gary MacDonald debate again but definitely think a more more attacking role suits him better with Millar and Brown behind him like today
  18. Saints 2-1 Luzern 1 after extra time MacLean 8268
  19. He isn't the owner? His son is?
  20. Not sure if this has been brought up before but think in light of us finally getting our hands on a major trophy I think it is about time one of the three nameless stands be dedicated to Geoff as without him we would not have been lifting the Scottish Cup. Thoughts?
  21. I know Tommy has liked playing MacDonald this year but can't see him starting him for the final. Would have played him at Inverness for match fitness after his injury. Imagine the team being: Mannus MacKay Anderson Wright Easton Dunne Millar Spoony O'Halloran May MacLean Last couple of games Tommy has played O'Halloran in a sort of floating role with Spoony switching wings when May joins the attack and can see the same thing happening for the final
  22. Tommy Wright is going to have one hell of a difficult time picking his final team. In my opinion : Mannus, MacKay Anderson Wright Easton, Dunne Millar Spoony, May MacLean and O'halloran. Back to the MacDonald debate, no he isn't the best midfielder at our club but he still plays for us. No matter how much the majority of you don't like him he will be in the cup final squad so get behind him and support him
  23. I'll be there for my Grandad who died a couple of years before we got promoted. He was a season ticket holder all his life and went to every away game. Helped geoff brown take over the club as a banker and took me to my first game aged four and started my love for football and St. Johnstone. Sad that he won't be able to make it to saints first ever final.
  24. I think it shows you how far we have come when people seem disappointed with a top six finish. Everybody should be delighted with this season with Rosenborg, two cup semi finals (hopefully a final) and hopefully another top 6 finish. Recent performances have left some folk down about the team but I would still class it as a good season. Would like to see some change to Saturday with: Mannus Miller Anderson Wright/Clancy MacKay Dunne Cregg Croft May O'Halloran MacLean Think May needs to play a bit deeper and get on the ball rather than be wasted on the wing
