Yeah, okay, I kind of thought about him as I hit "submit". James Brown as well to be fair, although he wasn't on for very long.

Mostly negative posts on here tonight and mostly justified. So, any positives? Gordon continues to bleed blue and white blood and McCart is a player I want to see playing for Saints forever. So the third man? For me, Dendoncker is the best of all the loan/short term contract defenders we have. He looked a bit nervous early in his first game, but with every minute on the pitch he gets better. Midfield? Forget it. Attack? Eetu wasn't great but not the worst player I've seen. Sadly had to be sacrificed at half time so we'll never know how it would have gone. Viv looked like he's been bossing this league for years and he was only on for about ten minutes. Can we keep him? Any player I haven't mentioned by name, have an early night, have a look in the mirror tomorrow and ask yourself what you contributed at work today. Oh, as for our lack of ability in front of goal, has anyone ever considered that Macca might not be a very good coach?

Bryson was a stand out. Gordon and Mccart close behind him for our man of the match. Kane ran his socks off as always.

We were a group of five and all had to show them. They weren't scanned or anything, just a quick glance then on you go. Just going through the motions I suppose.

Yep. We were all angry this morning, angry at the outgoings and unimpressed by the incomings. But none of this is the players' fault. All the new guys seem happy to be coming to Saints so let's give them our support. The dust has settled, we still have most of last season's squad, we still have our manager.
