  1. Still getting ads from time to time, but are easy enough to get rid of. Eastenders has now been replaced with Toyota ads - I can't even drive
  2. I've been getting the Eastenders ad too. Haven't watched it in years. The lsssie standing in the rain is really creepy!!
  3. On the train back up to Glasgow after the yearly gambling frenzy that is the Cheltenham Festival. Left the B n B near Stroud at 9.30 this morning. Will get back to Comrie around 9.30 tonight. Long day, but we've had a great week. I'm a great fan of Jessie Harrington and Gordon Elliott, so I've made a few quid this week
  4. I did think to myself before kick off that it would be worth doing a bet on Paton to score first. Didn't fecking do it!!!
  5. Finished up tonight for two weeks holiday. Double g n t in the pub while I wait for my bus home. Train down to Cheltenham on Sunday. Braw
  6. I don't normally bet on my own team but I have some money in my Paddy Power account, the Cheltenham Festival is soon, and I have a touch of Festival Fever. Hope this doesn't end badly!!
  7. I've never had a problem with the stewards. Until Saturday. At full time hey were encouraging the FCU and everyone else to hurry up and get out. But in an arsey way. Made me feel a bit uncomfortable. Don't know what their problem was.
  8. Oor Amy can put away her pen and bit paper. No Cup Final song needed this year. Maybe she can give us a wee sing song at half time at the Dundee game.
  9. I sit in the same block as them, up at the back. They've not done anything wrong as far as I can see.
  10. Slightly off topic, but I used to work with a guy that played with the Albion. He left back about September time. Really nice lad, but we all thought he had the wrong attitude. Came up from London to sign for a pro team and thought at 20 he was Wayne Rooney. No pal, Wayne's made it, you haven't. I said at work when Dave took over that he'd soon put Moses in his place. And since Frazer joined them, I don't think he's even been on the bench.
  11. I'll try! But The Royal in Comrie is like an Old Firm social club!
  12. Thanks Templar. I'd love to be there tomorrow, but my purse says no! Paid a shit load the other day for a 52 week megarider and going to the Cheltenham Festival next month. Can't do everything. Going to the Partick game because it's cheaper
  13. Muirton Suite opens at 10 tomorrow. Think they're doing bacon rolls or something similar. Is the game on Sky or BT? Sorry if that's a stupid question!
  14. The price of tickets for the Celtic game is putting me off going, not the selling arrangement. Need to renew my 52 week megarider this month (not cheap!) Hard to justify £27 plus tea, gin etc when I can watch it on the tv.
  15. Further to what others have said, today was worthwhile for the club. I for one was swithering over going or not. Basically, I have the same auto immune condition as Venus Williams and I've been really struggling with it the last couple of weeks. Decided yesterday I didn't want to miss out on the blue party and the £10 shirt was the clincher!
  16. I queued in the East Stand for about 20 mins for a shirt. Luckily for me, I'm pint sized. A child's one fits me no problem
  17. Just watched the interview. Oh dear, he didn't come across well. An interview with Rod Stewart would have been less shambolic!!
  18. A huge thanks to the lovely man who gave me a cup top up voucher that he had spare. He didn't want anything for it. A week before pay day it was very very much appreciated. Thanks again, from the lady with the long, dark brown hair outside turnstile 13/14 of the East Stand. You are a true gent.
  19. It would make me laugh if the tannoy dude played Money's Too Tight To Mention by Simply Red just before kick off
  20. Aye, ask Police Scotland and they might respond in 4 or 5 days time
  21. Merry Christmas everyone - even Gort and Smarmy!!!
  22. After Boaty McBoatface, did nobody at Partick think that maybe getting the general public to vote for anything isn't really a great idea? They're going to end up with option A.
  23. Thanks Roy. I'll ask in the gift shop after the game. If they aren't selling tickets I'll get my sister to phone on Monday.I work in retail. This time of year I'm too busy to do it myself! If she has no joy, I'll get back to you. I have a PH6 postcode not a Weegie one. So hopefully the ticket office dudes will be nice to us!
