  1. My father has had numerous stays in PRI over the last 5 years and he has always spoken highly of the food. His latest stay was in early December. He found this time there wasn't a choice and by the time the trolley got to him, there was very little left. So he had for his evening meal a dollop of mashed tatties with lentils mixed through it. That was all. Yum yum!!
  2. Glad to hear you're getting home Scotty. Being in hospital is never fun. I'm led to believe the standard of the food has taken a nose dive lately. So at least at home you'll get a decent feed
  3. I've been getting the resource limit thing a lot too.
  4. The Comrie Young Team is on the train to Haymarket. Well, when I say young, we have a combined age of 74. And when I say team, there's only 2 of us !!!!
  5. I have to go in to work tomorrow for a few hours in the morning (should have been off) so I shall be relying on the good people of WAP to keep me up to date with news of any potential issues with the weather in Edinburgh.
  6. Sad to hear about Monsoon closing. Great shop for handbags. I know that sounds really girly, I'm sorry!!
  7. The "war chest" is looking increasingly more like a tea caddy!!
  8. There's a guy over on the semi final tickets thread with a spare. He's doing a guess the score at Parkhead competition type thing. Best of luck!!
  9. I'm not believing anything. Not until someone shows me a text from Stevie May's Dad saying he's staying
  10. Breadalbane is now wishing he'd kept his trap shut!! Remind me never to trust you with a secret dude
  11. Don't rely too much on the forecasters Ghostie. We had a fair amount if snow on Wednesday night. BBC weather forecast was for light cloud. Light cloud my arse!
  12. I've got tickets for the Manics too ☺
  13. It will be a bit shit if people who go on a regular basis struggle to get a ticket, because we didn't get a voucher to allow us to buy one after ST holders and the general sale tickets are all bought up by folk who haven't been to see Saints since the Cup Final. And that isn't a dig at our overseas/England based fans. I mean Perthshire based band wagon jumpers, who went to Parkhead and haven't even been to a car boot sale at McDiarmid since, never mind a game. Ok, rant over !!!
  14. Maybe all of us who didn't get vouchers will end up in the Main Stand, we can sit together Fazman! I don't really mind as long as I don't get soaked. I sent Ross an email, not an arsey one, a polite one. He apologised and said he'd pass it on to the relevant people. What more can you do?
  15. Maybe the turnstile wifey took one look at me and thought "nah, don't like the look of you". Maybe she only gave vouchers to good looking guys, which rules me right out!!
  16. I went in the same gate as you, Jamie. Normally go in via the last one. But for some reason I decided not to. Kicking myself now.
  17. Glad it wasn't just me that didn't just get a voucher. I was feeling a bit unloved!!!
  18. I was at the Hearts game. I wasn't given a voucher. Should be ok getting a ticket in the general sale, hopefully
  19. I'm not steaming - today is the first day of Dry January. Good luck to anybody else doing it.
  20. Putting the trainers on, out for a wee run. Then it'll time for a nice fry up
  21. Last shopping day today. Can I request that anybody who insists on going into a shop this afternoon 15 minutes before it closes has a least a vague idea what you want, and not wander around like a fart in a trance? All these people do is delay my arrival in the pub! Merry Christmas folks
