  1. So glad I made that trip. Was only 20 but even then I realised it wouldn’t be a regular occurrence. Then bus trip from Kelvin Travel at the North Inch was some trek
  2. I was on that bus from Kelvin travel, I remember it just pulling away from the north inch and someone shouted "1st pub stop the Corrina!!!?" start of a great trip, £15 for 3 pints in some boozer along the front in Cannes even then, wonder how much it will be now, playing footy in my kilt after the game with some young locals, falling and skinning my knee, papparazzi bar the night before and proving to all doubters we were real scotsmen!!!
  3. Maybe he mouthed cheerio while he was waving? Don't know about the clap though!! Nasty
  4. Just been on the radio about Wright and still nothing on the OS, pretty poor show.
  5. Either that or it will be chicken buckets instead of pies next season!!
  6. Dubes has signed 2yr deal with oxford united
  7. Can't wait for the exciting signings to start.......
  8. Saw this on twitter. St Johnstone target a former Rangers striker - exclusive story in Daily Express and Daily Star on Wednesday.
  9. We'll score again don't know where don't know when but I know we'll score again some sunny day!!
  10. Think I've been to all the games that we havnt scored in on this terrible run, and I can't make Saturday so If we get a goal this Saturday I may be best staying away for the remainder of the season!!
  11. Looks like it's not just the management team that need to take a look at themselves, Mr Bannerman from the PA has Grainger down for 2 stars. Stick to watching Rangers pal.
  12. What about Leon Knight? Think he plays in Ireland just now and seems to be quite good pals with Jody. Think he has a bit of a rascal reputation but that isn't always a bad thing.
  13. Jeezo, do you not think we have more important things to worry about than what the manager is wearing??? I couldnt care less if he was standing in the scud with his wanger in jar full of wasps aslong as we show a bit of hunger and desire. Some people need to get a life
  14. Great, season ticket holder and they are playing another game when I'm working, no wonder football is going down the tubes, the SFA should be hung for this, tv is dictating again. Final nail in my season ticket coffin for next year
  15. My main point is there doesn't seem to be a plan B, lets say JR does improve, and starts putting the odd goal away, then (god forbid) he picks up an injury, we are back to square one, everything is focussed on not losing, forget the clean sheet stats, they don't win games, they pick up a point here and there but ultimately you have to score goals to be successful, I can't believe I'm saying all this, it's football basics but that's the dilemma we find ourselves in.
  16. Our lack of threat to goal was oh so evident again last night, and I'm actually starting to believe the doubters now, it isn't great to watch, you can blame it on the pitch if you like but away from home is definitely not any better, football isn't all about preventing goals it's about scoring them, and I'm sick to death of watching a side trying to make sure we don't lose goals, who gives a shit if you lose a goal, along as you score one more than the opposition, cliche alert, you have to allow for mistakes like graingers last night sometime, they do happen, but the worrying thing is there is not a plan from mcinnes to make up for these mistakes when they occur, without that grainger header and the "free kick" it quite possibly would have finished 0-0 against a Rangers side that could easily have been beaten, and the worrying thing is McInnes probably would have took that in a heartbeat, oh and by the way the biggest passenger last night was a guy that has just signed a new contract, another McInnes vision of the way forward. Tannadice bound on Saturday but if it doesn't stay 0-0 then I can't see us getting anything from the game if this keeps up
  17. I don't see how we can blame the whole situation on strikers, Roddy Grant, John Brogan, or Ally McCoist wouldn't score goals in this team, we aren t creating chances, it's ok picking one or two times a game like Saturday when millar and grainger hit the post but you have to create more chances than that, if you had a striker that managed to score with a chance or two a game then you better appreciate him because he wouldnt be at saints for very long. How I long to see a Moore and Maskrey again!!
  18. Mates of other teams, who keep bringing up that my team has never won a trophy and that we are just a small shitty supported club. We maybe can't do much about our attendances but the cup win would do me fine. COYS!!!
  19. He's certainly a no nonsense style top defender, it's a wee bit unusual to have two centre halves that are quite similar that actually works, you usually have one that could be a bit more composed and play a pass but its certainly effective for us at the moment and long may it continue, I'm hearing rumbles of an "Ando for Scotland campaign", maybe a bit premature............is it??
  20. Was up the crieff road way last night around half 7ish and the only part of the car park that had been touched was the road to the left heading down to the Astro and main door, I dont think the under car park heating had been switched on either...... Buggers!!
