They won't be happy today down Dens way, the inevitable admin for Hearts is happening and they have held on long enough for a penalty next season. Pity, I would rather Dundee stayed up than Hearts but I can see this rumbling on.

One instance of Dundee being called United , hardly a crumb of comfort to United. Even on their own 100 years history of United they are called Dundee numerous times in their 1974 cup final v Celtic. Weren't United in the Dees shadow for about 60 or 70 years though ?

As far as I see it United are regularly called Dundee, on Sky sports amongst others and Derby fans on forums last week kept saying Russell of Dundee. Must be annoying for arabs. United weren't robbed in the 84 semi final against Roma, Milne missing a sitter and amateurish defending was the cause.

Surely this lot will be well looked into BEFORE the deal is signed. If everything looks above board why would they turn it down ?

Can understand them taking the money to ensure promotion at the first attempt, there doesn't look to be a threat to them anyway in that league. Long term will be the problem, they better check these people out well before confirming the deal.

Wprst aggro I saw at Muirton was against Dundee, we beat them 1-0 McCoist scored it in a league game at the start of the 80s. Segregation at the half way line but fighting all the game.

Seemingly the cameras missed the worst of the aggro, and the guy on talk sport said it was carnage on the walkways outside Wembley after the game. There could be a lot more arrests on the way.

The defending was comical but that makes for exciting games, there is nothing worse than great defences killing a game.

Why can't a top league of 18 work for the SPL but can work for the lowest league in the 12-12-18 ? Fed up playing teams four times, a bigger SPL is a must and would let more teams at the trough.
