  1. You speak about bias on one hand, but if I had to guess who'd be quickest to blame Ando for something on here, you'd be top three.
  2. 'There crowds are terrible , = to Hearts getting 5800 at home, that is shocking.' Anyone make sense of this from Jambos Kickback? Another post moans that we take more points from them and Aberdeen than we do from Celtic. What a strange club.
  3. While i agree the stewards should do something about it if our fans have certain restrictions, I don't really think it's something to be upset over. Doesn't really effect you in any way.
  4. Brad McKay wasn't good enough to start for Hearts, was by most accounts a bombscare defensively in League 1 (League 1 ffs,) and has consistently been a bombscare when he has played for us and comes across as an absolute moron to boot, albeit an ambitious one. The reaction to his departure has been absolutely baffling, both here and on Facebook.
  5. Firstly, if you aren't able to go to the game, maybe wait and here some reporta from those there on how we played before deciding we aren't as good as we think based on a result from a severely weakened team. On to the game, first half we had no creativity. Second half we were very good. We created at least six good chances and were extremely unfortunate not to win it in ninety. I've been sceptical of the penalty shoot outs, but it certainly means something when you are in it. Thoroughly enjoyed that. Not being seeded is disappointing but there's still some very winnable ties in the top 8 seeds. Finally, Danny Swanson. Sensational.
  6. Has to be Zander for a prolonged spell. Mannus, while undoubtably a St Johnstone legend, had a poor season by his standards last season, and with a highly regarded keeper waiting in the wings we need to give him a chance to show what he can do.
  7. As exciting as a performance against that level of opposition can be. It's hard to gauge just how well we played, both as a team and individually, but Alston and Watson worked really well together down the right. Alston especially had a top debut. Thought Liam and Midge worked well together and Liam's delivery, while helped by the fact their (very impressive) keeper struggled with cross balls, was very dangerous. Highlights absolve Clark of any blame, the angle I watched it from it looked like it had went straight in, but was a good header in retrospective. Danny Swanson man of the match, first half especially he made it look men against boys. Great first match of the season, 3-1 going on 6 or 7. Nice social club in the ground too.
  8. You're welcome. No segregation is for rugby fans, hate that nonsense. Great prices though, excited for this.
  9. Booked the train from Edinburgh, but just going to drive up now. Four of us going.
  10. I'd re-sign Jamie Adams, all the attributes to play up front.
  11. It's been well documented throughout this thread, he's signed now so no point going over old ground.
  12. There's no doubt in my mind he will be a decent signing for us and do a good job. His tweet about signing for Saints was a classy one too. I don't like his political views or his thuggish nature, but he's a Saints player now so I will get behind him. On a seperate note, Bev, never change.
  13. I think you might want to have another wee look at the post you replied to...
  14. Yes. I never called him a right wing extremist, I suggested, all other things being equal in a perfect world, I'd sign a player that wasn't as racist as him. You can't re-tweet things like 'Syrians detained at the border, possibly ISIS, build a wall,' without being a racist, unless you are doing so in a manner to show how stupid the original tweet was, which, judging by other things he retweets, I very much doubt he was.
  15. Load of drivel? Please explain.
  16. Somebody that doesn't hate Muslims as much as him would be nice. '8 Syrians trying to come in over the border, ISIS maybe? We need to build a big and beautiful wall.' Tweeted by Donald Trump, retweeted by Paton. Multiple other tweets retweeted by him showing him to be a massive bigot.
  17. If it's a case of Paton or a less racist, equally as good player then I'd choose the less racist equivalent. If there's not an equally good fit in Tommy's eyes then I'd take him.
  18. Been out of the country since the beginning of March, so going for something before that. Both trips to pittodrie were great this season, the second one during a horrendous run of form but still claiming a point and obviously the first one was spectacular and would have won game of the season in many a year. Will go for Ibrox though. Showing up a manager and squad like that and making the bigots rage was a thing of beauty.
  19. Tommy is a big Derby County man and a terrible manager.

    Top Six

Granted the defence was poor but a sub standard team being a front four the fans had been calling out for for months. No surprise to see you trying everything so that you don't have to praise Saints though.
  21. After seeing the split fixtures I had this pencilled in as similar to the Aberdeen game last season, a win should be good enough for Europe. But 1 - Celtic are shite. and 2 - We are ****ing amazing. Gutted I can't be there though, should be a cracking day.
  22. I don't know why people watch football if they get no joy out of it. The joy for me is being successful, whether that be over one match or one season. Qualifying for Europe is the only thing we can achieve from the League set up, absolute madness to not want to be as successful as possible on the off chance it might help us finish 6th instead of 8th next year.
  23. If Rangers beat Celtic on the 17th we can start experimenting, until then it's our strongest team, and Darnell Fisher looked the part from the turn of the year and by all accounts continues to do so. While I appreciate the reverse curse you seem to put on Saints, your negativity recently has increased markedly. If this is all a ploy so that we win our last six games then thank you.
