  1. This is ridiculous. It even says ''The 22-year-old had been deemed fit enough to be allowed entry to the ground and had not been involved in any incidents as he watched the first half of the game''. Now if he has not been behaiving inappropriately, then whats the problem? Are policemen on commission these days? A wee bit of common sense surely! I can't see Saints helping, or even putting in a good word for this fella, seeing as they wouldn't do anything to help out there own support, in situations like these.
  2. ''He's a proven SPL player of two years and if he had been wearing a Rangers shirt last season I'm sure he would have been capped already.'' I have taken the quote above from what Geoff Brown has said in The Courier. I am glad that he has highlighted the fact, that players when at a ''non-old firm'' team. really dont have a look in internationally. You must play for Celtic/Rangers or an English side to be really considered. Alan Main, was the best goalkeeper Scotland had around 10 years ago, but still Scotland went for a Celtic diddy in Rab Douglas.... And Calum Davidson, never got capped while at Saints but did not so long after leaving to go down south. If only the Scottish media and ''mafia'' (as Vlad would call the SFA) stoped being old-firm biased. Our international set up would be alot better. I hope Geoff takes Rangers for all they've got. Murray is off Internaional standard, but wears the wrong colour of blue domestically. I hate Weegies!
  3. Jad, I enquired about player sponsorship earlier on this summer, it is £300 + VAT so you are talking £360. Like Aitchy says, at the end of the season you get to attend the clubs player sponsor's night, your players signed shirt, a picture with the player and your name/sponsors name in the matchday programme. When I asked before, there were a few top name players available, and the club have obviously recruited since then.
  4. I wish the same could have been said for the UCD game. Very little support from the local community... I also expected a few more saints fans over aswell. if that is the standard of the Irish Premier, why are we wasting our time going over there? Games against Linlithgow, Bo'ness, Bathgate, Auchinleck, Pollock etc. would be off a much higher standard, more of a test for the players. And alot more people would be in attendance. I know the game was against schoolboys, but c'mon. 1 song the whole game?... Thats embarrassing, and to make matters worse, it wasn't even finished. Plus the pricing for such a game was disgraceful. 15Euro/£15 to watch part time amatures, i seen 1 police officer and 1 steward. No chance it cost much for policing this match in what can only be called as a juniour park within a school playground. I didnt know what to expect, but it wasnt quite like that. Anyway, good to still be unbeaten.... Long may it continue
  5. Livi have rearranged to play Hearts. A game in which they will make alot more money. Better game, for both clubs. Short distance for Hearts to travel on a Saturday. I can see them taking a big crowd through. Its disappointing about Huddersfield not playing up here. Would have been good for Scott Arfield to return Home!
  6. Cheers mate, I take it, the bus will take you into the centre of Dublin, then is it an easy walk from there? Or best to get a taxi?
  7. I am also coming over. First flight from Edinburgh, Last flight from Dublin. St Paddy or any other Irish based Saints. Whats the best way to get from Dublin Airport to the City Centre, then onto the Football Ground. Will there be local buses running regularly on a Sunday?
  8. I am very disappointed in the club, after informing me that confirmation of the trip to Ireland would be put on the website. As you can all see, nothing has been added to the website regarding this. I have now booked flights, with the hope that the club agree a kick-off time suitable for me to make the last plane home 21.55. One thing I dont understand is, why have they arranged a date, but not a time? Surely both clubs would agree on a suitable time for the match to be played before confirming anything. (I also noticed that Bohs have no confirmation for there pre-season schedule so far) Plus this makes me look like a diddy!
  9. I received a reply from the club today. They have said that either today or tomorrow, confirmation will be put up on the website regarding kick-off times for both matches in Ireland. Doubt it will be today now, so expect tomorrow.
  10. BIG TEAM. BIG LEAGUE wee team. wee league
  11. Does anybody know any more information regarding the Ireland trip. i.e kick-off times. I am looking to book flights to go over for the Bohemians game on the sunday, but obviously depends on the time the game will finish. Also after looking at the Bohemians website, they have not released any information about playing us. Is this definatley a first team game?
  12. Marc, Ill give you a text when I get through. See where the Party's at.
  13. Are yous getting the fast train that goes through Livingston South?
  14. Just got 2 tickets for the North Stand. The boy said, that there was about 2700ish sold. He still remains hopefull, and says its early days. Hail Hail, the South Livi Saints are here. What the hell do we care now................
  15. Remember that day the Pack took over Brechin......... Only joking it was the 'Radge Gadges' from Edinburgh Saints
  16. Are we at Tesco yet? Also, thanks Marc, take it your on bus duties for the semi!
  17. Baldy...... Just to confirm, I have three match tickets and will require the three seats asked for. Thanks. Really, looking forward to this day.
  18. Does nobody think the pricing is a bit steep? Especially for standing? I can understand Brechin wanting to maximise there profits and well Geoff would charge as much as humanly possible. I see that on the Brechin website, they have stated that there usual pricing structure is as follows: Prices for the 2009/2010 season: Adults: £10 Concession: £5 Parent & Child: £12 Lounge: £35 Segregation: Admission prices for visiting support Adults £13 Concession £7 Parent & Child £16 I find it a bit out of order that they are charging the same price for standing and seating areas. I also think that this may cause problems on the day is, that the tickets bought, nobody is guaranteed a seat. So what if say an older person, or someone with a child wants to sit/needs to sit and there is no seats left. Anyways I will be there. Hail Hail South Livingston Blues!
  19. ......We rule the Bundy and Fleet OK!....... There is such a good atmosphere about this match. Im so in the mood, only an hour and a bit to go at work! Early rise tomorrow, but im sure it will be worth it. Hail Hail!
  20. You could start from say Deer Park. Because if you look at many peoples locations, there are a number from West Lothian and the surrounding area. At least I thought so. Pick up point in Edinburgh is do-able, its just the return drop off, i was more worried about. Alot of people cant be bothered, getting dropped of in Town to make there way back to Livi on the train/bus.
  21. Potentially, you have atleast 3 from Livingston, maybe even more, depending on ticket and bus prices. I am sure i could get a few more mates, to come as well. Would there be a pick up point near Livi? Deer park? or on the m8 somewhere?
  22. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/scotland/8018538.stm well McInnes is expecting a large blue and white convention on Saturday. I think if everybody puts the word out that there going to the footie to watch the Champions then there will be a few tag alongs. St Johstone FC should be able to fill a 10000 seater stadium when they are playing a game when they could be crowned champions and will return to the promise land. Theres a car load of tag alongs, and 'Part-Time' saints fans comming from Livi. 'Part-time' only because of work, and working abroad. Get everybody you know an invite to our Party!!! The Saints having a Party, The Saints having a Party, The Saints having a Party, The Dees are in there beds!!!
  23. Livngston used to give out a couple hundred tickets to the local primary schools. It was a combined adult and child ticket. So that would boost the attendence, and also some extra coins due to the amount of merchandise, food and drink etc that would be bought. I know that when i was at school I just couldnt wait to see if my name got shouted out for the weekend tickets. Obviously, only when saints were playing away. But if saints actually thought about this, even for next season, they could make abit extra money and make McDiarmid more full. I f you think that a wee laddie recieves a ticket for him and his father then no doubt his brother/sister would also want to go, and im sure that the father would splash out for extra son/daughter as overall the family are getting to the football for alot cheaper (a tenner at todays prices).
  24. What is the full lyrics to this song? My favourite has too be ''There's only one Andy Jackson, There's only one Andy Jackson, He's only nineteen and he hates the Queen. Walking in a Saintees wonderland''
