  1. Just home from the celebrations. Great day and actually still cannot believe it has happened. Looking forward to tomorrow see you all in perth
  2. What is the distance between the snooker club and celtic park? Will the buses be taking people between the 2 or is it walking distance?
  3. Can stop in dunfermline be at East end park? Thanks for the update
  4. I'm happy with anything but would prefer the pick up actually in dunfermline. Even the leys park car park (opposite police station) might be a good shout as plenty parking for everyone.
  5. The Elizabethan as there is the carpark at the back and is also in walking distance for many of my group. However understand the idea of the park and ride
  6. What about in front of East end park it's central for everyone? Also there is local buses to drop people off who don't have access to a car
  7. Blue saint the idea of the Halbeath road was when pickup was at pittencrieff street unless you went down by the viaduct. Is the new park and ride you are talking about?
  8. I am sure the club would have loved to have designed something a bit more special for the cup final, however with the short timescale they had to get something which was easy to produce in time. I think they could have done better with the photogrpahy as I do not think the quality of the photo really sells the shirt.
  9. currently can preorder this from campus sports
  10. We have West of the main stand and the jock stein stand. Utd have East of the main stand and Lisbon lions stand
  11. Good to see they have some news already on the official website and twitter with regards to merchandise and that they will be hoping for information on the ticket arrangements tomorrow. http://www.perthstjohnstonefc.co.uk/newsitemsdetail.php?param=2961 hopefully these updates will continue right up until matchday
  12. This could work in our favour as long as the players stay disciplined. In the LC semi Aberdeen put in quite a few hard challenges which weren't picked up by the ref then, especially every time Nigel got the ball he was fouled. But agree he can be very inconsistent with the decisions made....will be interesting to see if these extra 2 officials will make any difference to the game
  13. I would be interested in a bus from Dunfermline, and I am sure there would be a few more.
  14. I would love to afford to go to every game but due to travel costs etc it not possible. Have previously had a season ticket but do not have the time now to attend every home game. Will be there for Thursday though and can't wait
  15. Cannot wait for this game tonight, not been this excited for a game of football in a long time.
  16. Finally got round to watching the ' highlights'. Think we allowed county back in to a game which should have been well out of their reach half way through second half. I'm unsure re the county quick free kick, normally these types of free-kicks are not allowed to be taken quickly when the referee is in control of it, in my opinion he looks like he is taking our player back the 10yards...both confusing for players and fans. Most frustrating thing is the inconsistency of referees on basic things such as not allowing wright back on the pitch after what happened the week before and the stopping of the game for a serious injury.
  17. I have stayed in dunfermline for 17years, and to begin with there appeared to be very few saints fans in and around dunfermline. However now there appears to be quite a few fans living in fife.
  18. Completely agree, their 2nd or 3rd goal was a foul on Mackay which the referee played advantage and the ball ended up in our goal! Got to support the team this weekend and get a win. Not been able to make the games recently due to work commitments but sounds as if we haven't played badly but losing the first goal is casuing us problems. Hopefully if we can score first on Saturday then we can win the game
  19. People should forget the rumours as that is all they are until it is made public by the club themselves. The main point is that Saints have not won a game in 13 games and this is not good enough. As a saints fan I don't want to be saved from being at the bottom of the table by Dundee, we performed well last season and should continue on the same form. Lets get behind the team and get a win this weekend. COYS
  20. I think all saints fans knew he was not going to be back at saints this season, however it is disappointing that he has signed for a club which played games with him during the season. Im sure he could have gotten the same money elsewhere if he had desired just maybe not on a 3 year deal. Such a waste of a talent. I think that rangers should have had a limit put on their spending/how much they can pay their players rather than a transfer embargo.
  21. Totally agree, however the dunfermline supporters I know are saying they would rather be in division 1 as more derbys for them and probably more money with more fans going to watch them
  22. No doubts about it Fran should have walked yesterday, he continued to foul even after being given a warning by the ref. However consistency did lack yesterday in my opinion by the ref and there were a few other players who were persistently fouling and were not even spoken to. Thought Russell who was booked near the end for Utd was unlucky to get that when Flood had about 5 or 6 fouls should have been booked early in the first half. This kind of thing frustrates players and fans. However 2 good goals by Utd was the difference again yesterday and if Saints had taken their chances early on, could have been a completely different game. Still plenty time to pick up points and get back in to 4th place
