Well the last 2 performances against County have been well sort of the performace we saw from this team in the first game at home against county. Indeed most of the performances since have fallen way below that level and that is very very disapointing

Thought we played really well in places. however we were also frail in the areas that we know we are bad in as well as osme laxidasical (sp?) passing and closing down at times. Very sad news. As has been said before, man who gave so much joy and pleasure over many years and made a massive inpact not only on the team but also on those that turned up to support during that time. It is sadly a very rare thing in this day and age and football is deffinatly the worse for not having people like Drew around. Drew is what football should always be about and he is in the truest sence of the word a Hero. Sadly we will never see the likes again

Find this hard to beleive from a normaly good and funny poster Maple! I have no problem with the Polish lads coming here they are comming from a massive club and sound like they have something about them. As far as Scottish lads getting a game er well lets not beat about the bush, we have some decent young players at 16 / 17 ish but in the main most of the young players at the moment will not add much to the team reguarly. These guys are slightly older and will now be looking for 1st team football if they are on the verge of the warsaw team then they are certenly good enough for the 1st dividsion and I would suggest better than any player of the same age that is trying to break into say the Rangers team. Owen will be looking at them on the basis of are they better than the best we have with a view to playing them reguarly. The youngsters we have (i include Saints and Scotland in that....certainly in our price bracket anyway) are not good enough at the moment, trust me if they were they would be playing every week, this has been prooved in the past (Griffen, Davidson etc). There is no anti youth conspiricy at St Johnstone. Where I have a problem with it is the usual loan signing stuff. The pessimist in me says the league is pretty much over and as they are not going to be here next year, what do they actually bring......even if they help us climb the league they will not be here next year. Potentially then if they are core to our success leaving us screwed and again looking for replacements of a good standard.

Like the strip. Love the material and love the fact the badge is embroidered and the sponcer is not stuck on so it will not peal off with age...not sure about the names down the middle but its not really a big problem, great strip

I Will retract the wholesale changes.......However midfield is weak not one of them in theres first thought is to take the ball down control it and pass. it just get headed or punted or bobbles about and we loose possession. We are also in desperate need of a centre back that can put his foot on it and play a pass into the midfield not just head it as far as he can or punt it as far as he can. We give possession away far to easily unless we are given miles of space to play......even then we will probably pass sideways

Different team, different style, more in the wage budget........Still the same pish as last year, absolutly woefull, no idea long ball crap. Out of it by christmas again. Not that I expected us to win is, but thought we would be closer to the top than the potential 13 ish points (if midden win game in hand?) we are looking at at the moment. Need to get rid of the dead wood that was playing today, and that is a lot of wood!!!!
