  1. Oh how Kane has saved the mood of the team!   Goalkeeping errors are always so open to criticism, what a relief for Zander that Kane scored a worthy injury time winner.   Brilliant.  Great strike from Hendry for the first and loved his emotion at end acknowledging the fans.   Braw!  Motherwell looked average, but that's possibly down to our shape.   We bossed that second half.  Huge 3 points.  As per all season, I'll stick the table here... hard to remember being rock bottom for weeks on end.  Team looks decent!

  2. Well, good timing to find out the shambles and worst transfer window in TW tenure, being so fresh in our mind.

On field results possibly papering over club management hierarchy shambles that was publicly displayed.

We should never turn down the opportunity to sell seats...

£20 a ticket...I think we could sell the Ormond and 2/3 of the Main Stand?..what's that 3.5k home fans?

Club would need to go into PR overdrive.  Less than 2000 home fans will turn up for this I'd imagine.  Should seriously look to shift the Main and East stand punters into the Ormond and have an Ormond Only home end and create some sort of noise with unrestricted seating.    No doubt the club will max the ticket price, so £25-30... so lets make an Ormond stand card display, everyone dressed with blue, drum, a voucher given on entrance for a free pie.  You know, all the good stuff we think might help, time to do it is now.

How about we take the Ormond and the South end of the West?  East, North and North end of West to them.  We will be on Premier or Sky for TV money.

Behind the goal is a good idea, something different.  Ormond home only fans, give the rest of ground to the manky mob.  Likely get a better home atmosphere behind the goal as opposed splitting us to polar opposites of the Main.   That Main stand v Celtic last time out was simply shite.

Ormond 'Blue' Day!   Party.  £15 to get in.

Sounds like we made hard work of that against a 10 man Championship side.

A win is a win anyone at home apart from the old firm and I will be happy

Not sure what you heard.  Easy win. Hit the bar, hit the post twice.  Ayr never really threatened all game.

Just wasteful, could have been 4 or 5 on a better day.  Credit where credit is due in horrendous windy conditions, away from home v a team who beat Ross Co last round.   Red card clearly the turning point of the game as the extra man definitely made it as comfortable as it was. Just wish we scored a 3rd, to remove that doubt we might concede late on, albeit Ayr rarely made it near our box.

Names in the hat!  Job done.

Great travelling support, but **** me that drive home was seriously shite... some huge bits of aquaplaning at 70mph in the storm!

Any risk the game being called off because of the weather?

Doubt it will get postponed, gusts are serious concern though... might get abandoned due to wind as it strengthens.  Rarely are games postponed due to wind, but never say never.    Game on!

  7. Huge 3 points. Another shut out is pleasing after shipping 3 goals v Hearts.  Aberdeen are struggling for goals at moment, so that's good to see our defence kept it that way.

Hearts getting beat and a draw with StMirren-Accies would say it was a very good night.  Good bounce back from Hearts draw, that might of felt like a defeat but credit where credit is due, superb effort to bounce back.

Keep looking at our goal differencw, -14 of them are v old firm!  Annoying!

  8. A great response to being 2-1 down at half time.  I'll keep focussed on that postivity, great show of spirit and togetherness.  Getting used to the formation, few more games and looks the way forward with 2 up front.

No doubt we deserved a win and never did I see them scoring so late on.

Bring on Aberdeen midweek!  If we play anything like against Hearts we'll pick up a point, or a last minute winner.

  9. A few new faces, not sure what to make of it.  Its a guessing game on what formation we'll see.   Just hope Tommy ensures the team start well. So important not to concede early.

Think we're in for a cup tie tempo, hope the ref is fair.   Who wants the 3 points most will get it.

main stand has a soporific effect leaving fans quietly numb.

I listened to Spotify after the 2nd goal to drown out the unwashed.  Paused for the half time 50/50, and resumed.  The start didnt give the fans any lift, any optimism was squashed when in 1st moments a handball wasn't given (looked handball from my seat) we just resign to the fact there is 2 rules.  Then we fail to get near the ball all half.

  11. Fkn hated every minute of it.  Turns my stomach.  Main stand only is shit.  Held that opinion for ever, nothing chsnged that.. particularly seeing the Perth based Celtic fans in the Main.   6 of them a couple of rows in front of me.     Yes we got money but if I wasn't season ticket, there is no chance Id be going.

  12. Id have accepted a 3-0 humping before the game.   Especially if we failed to put 1 single tackle in for 45 minutes!   Men v boys out there.   Anyway, we tried but totally outclassed first half.  I can't find any positives, I'll let TW do that.   Roll on the weekend.

Hearts have sold out their allocation and have been given additional tickets by Saints. Better watch they will be after 3 stands next :)

Good to see them helping us financially after we donated generously to save them...  Hearts away support has been disappointing for many seasons, amazing what 1 win out the blue does.   We'll shut em up.  Will be delighted to send away quiet.  They are still shite, as long as we can combat their 'pressing game' we should be good for a win.

Huge 3 points.  We dominated second half and were rarely threatened.  Justice done as yet again Killie cheating with diving.  Players were brilliant.  Had thought we'd got the gap to bottom at 9 points, but looks as if Hearts are a different team.  Still tight tight at bottom.  Any of the bottom 6 at risk, just glad we are playing decent, games are coming thick and fast now....  spoke with MOH and he says he'll hopefully be good for Celtic midweek

I use my phone normally posting the league table all season in the match threads, but today logged in on the laptop at lunch, to get a surprise to see how huge my league table screenshots are.  Sorry dudes on laptops, had no idea it was supersized 80kb file!  Ha ha

  16. My only testimonial was Dougie Baron's.  I like the idea of holding them for recognition of loyality but not sure I'd make the effort to attend, have not in the past, do the players really need my cash more than I do.  I'd rather see a post match game of 7s across the pitch after a real 90 minute game.  Eg a show boating game of skill and laughter with no tackles as a cool down.   Then gift the parker pen at the end.
