  1. The Albert Bar is on Albert Street, near Arbroath Road. There is also one on Lochee High Street, the first one is closer to Dens.
  2. A 15 and 16 year old lifted for it, no place for this in Scottish football. You expect it in Glasgow but not Dundee.
  3. I see Dundee United fans are having a whip round to help two of their fans who were stabbed after the recent derby. Both victims have been off work since the incident close to the 4 jays pub near Stobswell. Wouldn't it be a turn up for the books if some Dundee fans put their hands in their pockets as well as it is their fans who are responsible for this awful incident. Time will tell.
  4. Another guy killed on the Hilltown , Scotland is too soft with killers really. There must be 100 murders a year in this country , in some states in the USA they execute you and some of them life means life. They don't mess about over there.
  5. Smith of Dundee or Lomas prob odds on now for first to be sacked.
  6. United only took 600 to Killie, their neighbours took 3000. Why is it all ticket for them ?
  7. United were found out on Saturday, hopefully that defending continues.
  8. That must be the worst Liverpool team I have ever seen, still gave Hearts the run-around. Looked barely like a Liverpool youth team. Big hiding for Hearts in the second leg, both clubs will go down at least 5-0 on aggregate.
  9. Guy got life today for murdering his neighbour in Dundee, stabbed him 82 times. Unbelieveable.
  10. A top league of 16 would be better, get fed up playing the same teams too often. As for below maybe two leagues, think four leagues is too many. Maybe a 16 16 12 if other clubs can be fitted in.
  11. i knew the guy murdered in Whitfield at the weekend, used to stay in beechwood in the 1970s but ended up in Errol. Always a shock when it is someone you know.
  12. United fans are amongst the best behaved in Europe and have won awards for this, unlike their neighbours. It was the Russian fans who started it, wouldn't like to be an arab in Moscow next week, if any bother attending.
  13. Saints v Pars or Saints v Dundee at new year, it's a hard one.
  14. Both Saints record crowds are against Dundee, at Muirton and McDiarmid, if it is against them and both are playing well it would be 10 000 plus. Let's see who these clowns pick as club 12 tomorrow.
  15. Just looked, Saints v club1 2 January 2nd, lovely.
  16. All these SPL chairmen spouting about sporting integrity the other week are eerily silent on this obvious move to slip newco back within a year. Why aren't they even saying one word against it, lost their voices have they ?
  17. Saints are voting for Dundee according to the Tully.
  18. SPL 1 has been enough of a disaster from day 1, never mind SPL2. Did anyone ask for SPL2,it's absolutely ludicrous. Div 3 for newco is the only way forward.
  19. Dundee could sell it out themselves, anyway hope they get the nod, not dreary old Dunfermline.
  20. Never has one club made such a mess and shambles of the game and made it look like a .bunch of inept amateurs running it.
  21. Dunfermline don't have a leg to stand on, Dundee should be up. The Pars were useless last year and their squad is much weaker now, waste of time them applying. At least Dundee coming up would mean the big one is back for us.Nothing excites me more than this game and this game alone.
  22. Dee fans will love this, either dunfermline who are 11 million in debt, or debt free Dundee in the SPL. It's a hard one.
  23. It seemed like 100 000 Scots were there in 77, I only remember seeing one England fan, the old boy who had a union jack waistcoat and top-hat.
  24. Was in the Black Lion on Bayswater Road after the 77 game, just across from Hyde Park. 50 p a pint, no real then as it was only about 28 p in Dundee at the time. I remember the guy in 79 who had a furniture van waiting outside Kings Cross , the tubes were on strike so he charged the punters a few quid each to get to Wembley. He filled it up in no time, locked the back up and walked away with all the dosh. The punters were all ripped off. This may have been 81, not 79, I'm sure I was on the tube in 79.
