  1. It's not necessarily BBC footage they would have seen - it's more likely they've looked over the shoulder of the Accies video guys.
  2. It's the Sportsound Extra one: http://www.bbc.co.uk/podcasts/series/scotfoot
  3. 1642: BBC Scotland's Kenny Crawford at McDiarmid Park "Ross County have still not mustered a proper effort on goal and Derek Adams will have to work hard to rediscover last season's form. Saints have made the Minsk defeat look like a blip. A few minutes to go here."
  4. His pronunciation of McCracken is my favourite so far...makes me wonder how our commentators would murder Turkish names.
  5. Crapped myself when they had that chance in the first minute, but been solid since then.
  6. Only four people have voted yes...let's hope Steve Brown isn't one of them!
  7. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/17517378 "I don't see why we can't finish fourth," 31-year-old MacKay told BBC Scotland. "It'd be lying to say we haven't thought about it, we've been up there [challenging] most of the season." Only correction I can make to that is, I don't see why we can't finish third...
  8. Either Biscuits against Hearts at Easter Road - Preston Pans Em as the Sun headline had it the following day (The Record had Perthquake, and both got stuck up on my kitchen wall underneath a Kelly Brook poster), or Treanor's penalty against Airdrie - I was literally on my knees in the stadium praying at that point, or Jenko's free kick in the 7-2 game which bulleted into the net, or Savo's overhead kick at Ibrox...but I think my personal winner has to be Simao pelvic thrusting the ball into the Rangers net in the 3-1 win at McD.
  9. over-rated: Paul Bernard - I still foam at the mouth thinking of how lazy he was Under-rated: Shaggy - partially for comedy value I have to admit...
  10. No, it's Frazier! Don't you start confusing things TJ Hooker!
  11. He's clearly the outstanding talent in Scottish commercial radio, but you've spelled his name wrong, it's Frazer with a z. You got the Thompson right though. Like Gary rather than Kenny.
  12. It's not truly amazing...it's commonsense. If they'd gone in heavy-handed there would have been a riot (you do know what visitors from Glasgow are like) and then Saints would have got totally hammered by the SPL.
  13. I'm sure everyone on here will join me in passing on condolences to Mr James Grady, just sacked as Morton manager, always a popular man in Perth.
  14. Up there with the 7-2 game and the 3-0 semi win over Hearts as the best game ever. It was a beautiful day, and what a brilliant game. What a team we had back then. Mind all the stuff with the fans sending Jimmy Bone a wreath the week before as well. "Mark Treanor, cool as a cucumber."
  15. BBC reporter David McDaid is on the High Street just now looking for Saintees to talk about last night's match - if you see a ginger-haired guy with a camera, that'll be him.
  16. Has someone on this forum got an admission to make? http://boards.footymad.net/forum.php?tno=4&fid=27&sty=2&act=1&mid=2123145978&page=1 I did enjoy one of them adopting us as their "wee team" - 5-0 anybody?
  17. WHEN we get past Forfar you mean...
  18. Cup. The SPL is pretty dull to be perfectly honest. As my Partick-loving mate says "It's more fun in the first". It's brilliant fun winning the First Division, but it's a lot less fun having to travel to bigot country four times a season, getting cuffed at places like Pittodrie or Easter Road, having dire bore draws with the likes of Falkirk* and having to shell out a ludicrous small fortune to do so. *Granted, it wasn't like that in 99 Existence is futile! I'm now off to slit my wrists, apologies for bringing everyone else down.
  19. Seems like some people's true colours are coming out now. In 30-odd years of supporting Saints I've never seen a Rangers flag or a Celtic flag at either of our beautiful grounds and I don't think we need to start that p*sh now. (Seen plenty of the former at Dens in times gone by, and I certainly don't think that's anything we want to be associated with.) The best flag for supporting Saints is a saltire, especially when it has the words First Division Champions on it.
  20. Bring on the Bunyip!
