  1. Och! is that all - and here's me thinking you had something on him - tch!
  2. I too await with eager anticipation to hear why somebody else has been named and shamed on this site. Reason's please?
  3. Jimbo I don't believe you watch 'Come Dancin' and are insulted by the appearance of Brucie. Is this no just jumpin' on the get rid of the Oldies bandwagon. However I have the very replacement in mind 'Jim Davidson' now there WAS a comic. Go ahead Blue Heaven....
  4. Oh!... ok so that's cleared that up. Back on topic... I don't care. Take 'em or leave 'em. They'll be back on air in no time.
  5. Do you want to withdraw this bit ? Maybe he didn't insult Royalty Enough - Is that what you're saying ?? Or maybe he didn't use the 'F' word enough on TV in the 80's and 90's. Just how often can you laugh at the 'F' word by the way ? Fortunately your ideal Politically Correct society didn't exist back in 82 and we had a good laugh with JD in Stanley (no not Perth - the Falklands).
  6. They're doing that now by allowing the use of the Grandparent rule. Tell me is that the rule that allows McGeady to play for Oirland ?? Or are one of his parents Oirish ? I mean is... of course.
  7. Hmm. No comment! (Regarding Womens Football - not JJacko8.)
  8. Why not try living somewhere else then and see how you feel about Perth after not being there for a while. Like 30 Years should about do it.
  9. Left for the forces in the late sixties but travelled back whenever I could for matches on Saturdays. Apart from the drugs scene, you could well be talking about any Friday, Saturday night in the mid 1970's. A dour auld toon then, IMHO but some areas have certainly been improved or at least modernised. I always talk the place up as being one of the better City's north of the border. However, like everywhere else, there's too much motorised traffic nowadays. Still miss the walk down from Letham to Muirton on a matchday.
  10. Unfortunately there are those on P&B that decided to turn that simple appeal into an all out political debate.

Dunc. Just back on island after leave. Is this issue now resolved or... ? I noticed on the news the other day that a battle had been won and certain rights had been granted?? But not sure if the fight is ongoing on behalf of others.
  13. Aye but... you must've loved airyplanes before you joined up?
  14. The fifth - Mine, it's an easier walk. And it's been open since... Lunch.
  15. Stark, Clarke who cares - hic! - I'm going back to the bar.
  16. And England are 2-0 up against Andorra - You missed that...
  17. The bottom line is, he's already grabbed 3 pts for them and to that effect he's been a good acquisition. Let's see whether his partnership with Dobbie blossoms into something we look upon with envy, or, turns into something we will ridicule.
  18. Asking people to comment on the obvious here - of course it would be good, and it's what we all want - but then again we didn't want to be in the position where we had to win 'em all in the first place. That's about all I can say about a hypothetical scenario that may, or may not, become reality. What 'sack' rumours.
  19. Fast turning into a 'Foreign' Billionaires playground. There will soon be little left of old England as most teams will not field many, if any, English (British) players. They will be (are) managed nearly entirely by Foreign managers. They play in Stadiums with Foreign sounding names. The only thing English about the Premier League will be that matches are played in err... England.
  20. I do not believe it.... I get to the UK once a year at which time I am able to make the pilgrimage to the 'hallowed ground' and what do I find. A two week international break followed by two away games on 13th and 20th of September. Bahhh!
  21. If the team keep performing the way they are at the moment he could probably get away with selling three sides of the Stadium.... couple a'hundred fans would be all that would turn up in Div2. But seriously - 1st 'All seater' pristine stadium in Scotland To take us back to something like Sheffield Utd used to have where if you weren't enjoying the football you could watch the cricket (or cars in our case) further down the pitch - nah! no thanks.
  22. Ah well - I like to see a smart manager. I'm going to work.
