O'Rourke
Any suggestions for our biggest improvement player-wise? Gary Irvine perhaps?
sjfc.spl.09-10
Gary Irvine, But Savo isnt the most improved but is coming back to his best!
sjfcsean
Andy Jackson. I thought he was garbage 2 years ago. Now i think he's a very good player for us.
Finners
Gary Irvine most obvious choice, seemed average and has turned into a very consistent performer. In a way, Kevin Rutkiewicz, I thought he was a distinctly average CB but he has turned into a rock (no jokes please )
SingaporeSaint
I think that Mooner could very much improve if he can shake off his injuries and get a good run in the team

Mike180279
I would have to say Alan Main!!! I thought he was finished last season but apart from a few howlers this year, he is been much improved. His handling has been first rate again this season. Jimmy Wallace
Derek McInnes. Much improved. Hasn't played a bad game all season!
Ramagamma
Based on the past year, I'd have to say the most improved player is Gary Irvine. Seemed like a decent if young right back at the start of 07 but he really does appear to mature every game he plays.
Gerry Mcmahon Fan
Caff and Craig without a doubt.
soulfulsaint
Caff I'd say had serious doubts now don't.
Ramagamma
At the time I was a bit puzzled over why we signed Caffs, especially given we had just shipped McManus too Morton but have to say he does everything you can ask of a central defender. His distribution may be lacking but he's reasonably physically decent and knows where to be on the pitch. Have to say Craig has improved a lot over the past year. I remember seeing him in a game near the start of last year, can't remember who it was against, where he seemed to drift in from his own half, run the entire length of the pitch skinning 3 opposition players and then rifling a goal in. Thought he had potential form that moment and he's built on that with every game he plays.

Ramagamma
The game/goal I'm talking about happened at home and probably in February/March last year.
