  1. agreed. Very decent bloke. Said hello and had a bit of banter with us when we arrived at the ground.
  2. that is really disappointing. For the sake of the rest of us please try contacting them again.
  3. I've gone for Macca. Zander didn't have much to do so don't see how he can deserve mom.
  4. Just home. Good performance, dominating County for most of the game. Not many clear cut chances for either team, but we deserved the 3 points. Scott Brown played well when he came on for Midge. Macca is God.
  5. presume season tickets are valid? doesn't mention this in above statement, not that I'd mind paying a fiver.
  6. That's not what the article says. It says it was York that made it public, not us.
  7. Yes, hats off to these lads, although as they rampaged through the car park after the game looking for a scrap I did feel like getting out of the car and telling them it was past their bedtime!
  8. Not much I can add to what's already been said. I'm not sure that was the worst performance of the season, I thought we were worse against Dundee at Dens a few weeks back, although last night came close. We played some nice football in the first five minutes, but the early goal, again, just put a dampener on everything - players and fans heads went down. No idea what the answer is as we have very little on the bench or further down the pecking order that can really change things. I hope Tommy is right and things do improve, although this blip is starting to look more and more like a downward spiral. I was thinking during the game about the thread on here just a couple of months back about whether this was the best ever Saints team. No.
  9. You might feel you have the right to dish out abuse to players and management, but does it really do any good? I doubt it. I've said on here before I can't stand booing of your own team, but have learned to cope with it on occasions at half time or at the end of a game. A worrying trend of booing during the game is creeping in and I find that really sad. Strangely it doesn't seem to be the traditional McDiarmid Park moaner doing this, but the same guys who otherwise sing and are generally encouraging. I wasn't at Firhill last night, but at Dens, most of the booing/torrents of abuse came from the "standing" section at the left hand side of the Saints support.
  10. Doesn't seem to be "up" for second half!
  11. Watching on the periscope thing through app on iOS. Pretty good. Game looks very scrappy. Lots of misplaced passes and sclaffs.
  12. Apparently there is a fans protest being organised via Facebook for their game against Hearts. They are being asked to enter the ground en masse at 3.15pm.
  13. Agree with above. Scobbie has done nothing to deserve being dropped, again.
  14. Yes, if not a 'must win', then certainly a 'could really desperately do with a win'. If we defend better than we did on Saturday I think we will.
  15. Couldn't believe the sponsors mom was Spoony. They either enjoyed the hospitality too much or SLF was amongst them!
  16. I can't answer the question the OP put, mebbes aye, mebbes naw, but: it is a real shame that more fans didn't turn up to enjoy the good timesit is a real shame more of those of us who did, spent less time moaning and actually realised these were the good times
