  1. Don't know if that will help. Remember last year we took Rosenbergs co-eff into the next round because we beat them.
  2. I'd rather we didn't have a gambling company as sponsor. Not so much sports gambling but online casinos and betting terminals destroy a lot of lives but hey it's a capitalist society and these companies have "sponsored" many a politician to get the gambling laws relaxed and they certainly have the dosh to throw at clubs so it could be difficult to reject. I am being hypocritical because if a local drinks company like Famous Grouse or Inveralmond came in I would have less of a problem even though arguably alcohol destroys as many lives as gambling. I guess it's getting the right balance between getting the best deal and maintaining the family club image, in any case I doubt we have dozens of potential sponsors hammering at our door.
  3. I'm no rich and I went to Norway, wait a minute I'm no rich because I went to Norway
  4. I really liked Liam when he was with us, particularly impressed with his performances even after he signed the pre-contract with Hibs. I have no issues with him leaving for more money but was sorry to see him go. However we are strong in midfield and there is no point adding to the wage bill to bring him back. Wish him well though.
  5. It's taken over a week to get back to any thing like normal. My productivity at work has been appalling, lucky I'm self-employed or I would have been sacked. I really must start to focus (on the Europa league games )
  6. He was in Sandemans on Sunday and I saw a guy walk up to him and say "Stevie, Stevie, will you sign my flag?"
  7. Regional groupings appear to have been the case until 2009. "Although the regulations no longer require the use of regional groups (as used before 2009), UEFA still uses some kind of regionalization in the first qualifying rounds. At first the clubs are divided into seeded and unseeded teams, and then the seeded and unseeded teams are split into regional groups. The general approach seems to use the North/Central/South scheme, but no specific rules are known"
  8. Might not get to play them four times. If we continue to beat them won't we get to keep them?
  9. Saints work hard to increase attendances to be fair but they need to keep pushing particularly during this window of post cup final euphoria. Payment options for season tickets plus 10 or 5 game packages at discounted prices Continue to target youngsters. Increase the catchment area by promoting St J's as the Perthshire team. My son was schooled in Auchterarder yet was a rarity in the fact he was a Saintee, even though it's only about 12 miles to McD. A pre season open day where people can get photos with the cup. Include the first Europa cup tie in the season ticket (or a reasonable discount). The continental membership scheme could be looked at. Similar to the loyalty card scheme already mentioned. It would give people an association to the club It is going to hard, not for the Europa games but for the league. There is no getting round the fact that playing each other four times is monotonous. On a positive Tayside football is on high and the derbys should bring in good crowds.
  10. Anybody know if there is going to be any unoccupied areas within Parkhead where banners could be placed over seats?
  11. The Utd model looks very credible so it may just be a matter of replicating that. If a group of Saintees were inclined so set up something similar it would be worth speaking to the "United for all" people for advice. We are ok for concessions final tickets at the moment I believe, but if we run out it would be nice have a fund available that could subsidies families with kids having to purchase full price tickets. No Saintee kid (or Utd kid for that matter) should miss this final because of cost.
  12. Great effort. I've sent as gifts to some Saintees.
  13. I've no problem with the better seats being £35, happily pay that for a final. Where I would have an a problem is if I was taking along a couple of young kids and was expected to pay 35 notes for each of them. It is nonsense not to have concession for the better seats, maybe not £10 but £13/£14 would be fair. It is a cliche I know but when the bigot brothers aren't involved these occasions are in large part family orientated. Obviously this doesn't meet with the SFA's vision of Scottish football.
  14. i use Croy a lot when going into Glasgow. Big free car park and regular trains
  15. One of our party has had to pull out due to illness so i have one ticket for the Roseburn stand, £20 face value. pm me if interested

  17. I was in at lunch time today and they said they have plenty in our end yet. Come on everyone, get your tickets bought and keep the sheep out.
  18. I'm maybe being a bit thick but reading the website it's not clear if Season ticket holders are limited one ticket each or are they allowed to purchase as many as they require?
  19. Cheers, Spoke to Ancient and arranged pick up in Auchterarder. If there are any other Chook Saints out there why not join us?
  20. Would you be able to pick two of us up in Auchterarder?
  21. You're absolutelty right of course but I just can't help myself having a peek at the possibilities
  22. We can't get any of these teams as they are all unseeded like ourselves. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2013%E2%80%9314_UEFA_Europa_League
  23. Plenty of parking at McDiarmid. There will be a big crowd but unlikely to sell out. It's pay at the gate so just get there in plenty of time. East Stand will have the best atmosphere. Welcome, your support is appreciated.
