  1. We would struggle to get more than £500K for May yet Celtic can get £1.2 million for Tony Watt
  2. Cheers for sorting all of this Capital. Look forward to catching up with you in Bratislava if not before.
  3. Hi Capital. Great work. Sent you a pm. looking for 6 seats. looks like I will rearrange other plans.
  4. Richard Thanks very much for all the info and help you have provided so far. When you meet up with the Saints fans it shouldn't be an expensive night for you as you deserve a free beer from many on here. My questions relate to travelling back on the day after the match. We are booked into Hotel Vion in Zlate Moravce after the match.(thought it easier than trying to get to somewhere else on match night). We need to be at Bratislava airport for 11.15. Looking at travel from Zlate Moravce on Friday morning Seems like 8.05 bus via Trnava is best to Bratislava train station and the number 61 bus up to the airport (no rail link to airport I believe). My questions are any alternative routes and how reliable are the buses? Should we consider starting our journey back earlier? Many thanks in anticipation of you answering and more than happy to catch up and buy you a beer.
  5. Just a wee note too all Saints fans arriving in Lucerne over the next 24 hours. The weather here is fantastic and even better at the Coop the beer is as little as 12 Swiss francs for 24 cans (anker larger)
  6. The bottom line here is that the season tickets are excellent value even as my kids get older and all don't qualify for the free tickets. I also like the idea of the cup top up which is a decent price and means I now know what the cost will be for attending all matches at McDiarmid. Some seasons you will win with this, (last year I think we only had one home game in the two cups). At least this year we go into it as Scottish Cup Holders and a target for everybody One other observation and shows the incredible achievements over the last few years. the 'cup' top up is for domestic games only. The one part I am not sure about on the cup top up is the cost for 17-18 year olds and students. Might be they are being treated as adults with the cost at £25 which I still think is decent value. My renewals will be dealt with on Monday . Although its a chunk of money, £855 for 5 of us (only 1 under 12) to attend every domestic match at McDiarmid (except Ando's testimonial match) is actually tremendous value for money particularly compared to away prices where it can easily be the best part of £100 for the 5 of us for one match. I encourage everybody who is thinking about it and can afford it to get tickets. Amongst the many great scenes over the Cup Final weekend was on the Sunday where there were no bigot brothers tops to be seen anywhere. Seeing loads of kids in blue and white was fantastic.. Also special mention to Fiona for coming on the Forum on Friday to explain and help. A credit to the Club and a very positive move which as some have said has hopefully taken the heat out of issue when there are so many positives about the Club. COYS
  7. Re Brewster at half time I think he was almost struck dumb for words as he was raging at United just having lost a goal through the keeper's mistake
  8. To quote my 12 year old "Dad, can we go the Hampden Museum soon? It will be worth it to see our name on the Cup". Guess where we are going during the school Summer holidays ((probably before July 17)
  9. MAKE MY DAY SAINTS! No matter what happens on the pitch today I will be very proud to say I was born in Perth and that Saints are my team, always have been, always will be.
  10. MAKE MY DAY SAINTS! No matter what happens on the pitch today I will be very proud to say I was born in Perth and that Saints are my team, always have been, always will be.
  11. Could this be the largest crowd at Celtic Park this season for a match involving two SPFL teams?
  12. Are you one of the ones from Dundee then that Donald was referring too?
  13. Excellent. That's another copy downloaded. Not what I was expecting but can empathise in so many ways which makes it miles better.
  14. Sounds like the auld geezer probably expected his bus ticket to be included in the price of the match ticket he was buying. Might be me some day I suppose
  15. Whilst in total agreement that there should have been many more concessions from the outset for both sets of fans, the problem if it was changed now (which it almost certainly won't knowing the SFA) would be that the 'better' seats would become available to those who didn't buy at the outset. Overall though it would be far better playing to a full house with a bit less money coming in from ticket sales. Yet again it shows how out of touch the SFA are.
  16. Hope the coverage is much less bias than normal although I doubt it will be.. Almost guaranteed that despite 10 years service to Saints Ando will be described as ex-Utd man! You don't see it in reverse though e.g.. Peaso banging in goals for Scumdee is not referred to as ex-Saints player again despite almost 10 years service at Perth. Perhaps Peter would like to explain why the coverage is so biased? As for celebrity Saints fans you have Ewan McGregor too. MAY the force be with us!
  17. "Yahoorsir we're Saintees" Oi that's my name!! Bus from Dunfermline is full too. Great work Glenrothes Saintee.
  18. Also possible to book online which is what I did so we are booked into the restaurant too. Note number above is actually 0871 527 8422
  19. I could rabbit on for hours but won't. Instead Saints can I just say thanks to everyone connected with the Club for making me and my family very happy!
  20. Agreed. Let's get right intae them and b***** up all the media luvvies who want a New Firm final. Perth (and Fife) deserve a big day out. We have waited 130 years for this!
  21. Should also say that if people PM me I will give my mobile number for contacting me.
  22. Pretty much. see above for pick up arrangements. Numbers are 25 and possibly 2 more. COYS.
