Nelly78
Half tempted to go up to Aberdeen on Sunday as I've missed the last few games up that way, although the £23 admission cost is kind of putting me off the idea. Feckin crazy price for a Sunday lunchtime kick off that's on TV. If anyone else is interested I could be persuaded to drive. As long as there's 3 or 4 of us and we split the petrol costs it should probably work out at about £10-£12 each to get there. Let me know if you fancy it. If not, I'll be in The Pol watching it! bigstu
I'll be up there already, so if anyone needs a lift back i have 2/3 spare seats. You can get a train up for £17 single or £12 if you leave at 8am Let me know
Edstar101
Not for me...wife working and laddie has another party on Sunday I'm still mentally exhausted after Tuesday as well
ryangordon86
I've been given a pass
Nelly78
I've been given a pass BOOM! What's our options then? 1. Train up and lift back from Super Stu. 2. Drive up. 3. Drive to Perth and get supporters bus. If it's only the 2 of us, the train (with lift home from Stu please!) is probably cheapest option. There's one at 9.14am from Haymarket which gets you to Aberdeen at 11.54am. £17 single just now. If anyone else fancies going (Marc? Gordon?) then driving up and splitting petrol costs may work out cheaper.
crieffsaintandy
I'm going ............. to work unfortunately, boo won't even see it on Sky. Wouldn't consider it anyway the kids prices are shocking
ryangordon86
Train up sounds fine if Stu has 2 spare seats. I'm not too fussed. Could always wait and see if anyone else fancies it and make a move tonight to either book tickets or whatever. Nice to see you made it back from West Belfast! ryangordon86
Alternatively, we could just tell the women we're off to the game and spend the day in the pub! Ha!
Nelly78
Belfast and Crossmaglen were "interesting"! So then Ryan, are we going to book the train or do you just fancy the pub?
ryangordon86
I'm easy. It either £50-60, half a day travelling and actually attending or sitting in the pub pretending I've gone! Both are perfectly feasible options IMO!
ryangordon86
If you want to book the train and I'll square you up this weekend, as long as Stu can get us home!
Nelly78
I feckin hate watching Saints on TV so I'd rather go to the game. It's just trying to justify spending £50 on getting to Aberdeen and going to the game. I'm happy to book the train tickets tonight if you definitely want to go? If I don't book it tonight then I'll probably change my mind!
Edstar101
Stop fannying aboot...book the tickets already!!!
ryangordon86
Book 'em Nelly. Definitely a better plan than the pub!
Nelly78
Book 'em Nelly. Definitely a better plan than the pub! I'll get them booked this morning then! You sure you don't want to come along Eddie? I'm sure Ben's almost old enough to look after himself now....................
Nelly78
That's them booked now Ryan so no turning back! £16 each, train leaves from Haymarket at 9.14 - you ok to get there for then? Stu said last night that he was ok to give us a lift back down.
ryangordon86
Perfect, I'll meet you outside Haymarket. I'll probably head there for 9ish. Need to remember and get a few tins tomorrow!

Need to remember and get a few tins tomorrow! Good man, see you about 9 then. Nikki was at Tesco today and picked up 12 cans of Tennents so I'm sorted! If you don't get a chance to get any tins before Sunday let me know and I'll bring a few extra along.
