There were certainly folk spitting onto the pitch, whether or not folk were purposefully trying to get Brittain is yet to be determined. Certainly shite like that has no place in society, never mind football. If you did it to someone in the street you'd expect a bang in the pus.

In regards to the banners issue, if the Celtic fans had stuff which actually related to football then I don't think it would be an issue. It's sad that they're using the game to impose their political point of view on others. It's not the time or place. Whilst as HSF says, the club have the right to ban folk if they so wish (much like a pub/club can just say no to folk without seemingly giving a good reason) but if the rumours about folk not even being allowed near the ground are accurate then it sounds like more of a police decision but again if it was true then they would surely need to issue a particular warning to certain people personally. In regards to smoke bombs, I don't have a problem with them personally (though I don't doubt they could have an effect on people who are closer to where they are set off) but when it's been stated on a number of occasions that the club runs the risk of being sanctioned due to them, then it seems a bit daft when folk persist in setting them off.

Inn Deep under the Kelvinbridge is great for good beer & food. Tennent's up Byres Road is decent aswell though it's pretty much full of home fans.

I certainly wouldn't just get a tattoo on impulse. Best way to figure out if you'll always like it is to have the image you want and stick it up somewhere where you will see it regularly. If you still like it after a few months then you're more likely to not regret it in later years. So often you see folk who've got some spur of the moment squiggle when they were on holiday somewhere then later regret having it done and have to get it covered up.

I hate smoking and the fact that you end up absolutely stinking when stood next to anyone smoking for any length of time. However if this is something that could be beneficial for attendances then I don't see why they can't at least look into it. All it would take would be a relatively small area with a small amount of stewarding. As long as they put enough bins out for folk to chuck the butts in then there won't be a mess.
