  1. whats the email for saints? i want to talk to someone about extending the offer to 13s and under, as opposed to 12s, in order to attract 1st yr pupils from secondary schools.
  2. the keepers dont really do much do they, apart from try to psych out the opponents with wacky inflatable arms
  3. is the stream i'm after currently showing handball, aye?
  4. can u get into the ormond stand for £10 even if u are not accompanied by a child? i'm planning on heading but it would be nice to get in at that price if at all possible. hopefully hearts will be knackered after their midweek game and our pace in forward areas can cause problems. here's also hoping that grainger will start, as he was quite comically gash the last time at mcdairmid
  5. This game available to view on t'internet? haven't got a nickel to attend the game today
  6. do you think alan kernaghan will have applied or has he accepted his place in the world (youth coach at rangers)? check out his vid on youtube in which he scores an unbelievable 40 yarder - its unbelievable...
  7. That's a scandalous decision. If he wasn't on the verge of an international recall then the decision would almost certainly have been upheld. After the damage that scotland has suffered following opponents dives...
  8. haha, super saint was awesome. cillian's change of pace is exceptional, giving him the time for two composed finishes. Definitely MoM. Sandaza was good, with a few moments of real class, but seems to still be lacking full fitness.
  9. Type Danijel Subotić into YouTube - fairly exciting results
  10. We should go for something simple and classy. We always seem to opt for a strip with naff patterns/patches of colour. I hope to see solid colours, maybe some wee stripes.
  11. I reckon hearts will want shot of Obua and, if he could be brought here on budget, could be a good attacking option for us. Are there any decent players at Raith, who could be snapped up for cheap, now that they've missed out on promotion? Dundee players?
  12. After seeing the result on saturday, i thought that it must have been yet another insipid display, but those highlights tell a different story. Why, oh why, will the ball not hit the back of the bloody net?!!! Peaso's header off the bar was just tragic stuff
  13. I feel I need to clarify my earlier post, or risk being labelled a Jambo; I went to Tynecastle as it was a freeby, and I enjoyed the game from a neutral perspective, with both teams playing some lovely stuff. My comments about Saints - i feel - are entirely justified, especially as I am skint. Less of the traitor jibes, please.
  14. I can appreciate good defending, but I aint goin to cream myself over it
  15. There is very little to encourage supporters to turn up this season. I've seen a couple of good results, but enjoyed zero entertainment. There's absolutely zero intent or belief going forward, and this is reflected in our piss-poor scoring record. I ended up at Tynecastle today...what a difference. Thank god for the cup, cos I sure won't be going to anymore league games.
  16. Anderson was quite impressive defensively, but his inability to make passes is infuriating - one in particular when he completely missed a dangerous run by Samuel springs to mind. I honestly don't recall more than 5 passes being strung together yesterday by Saints, and it's guys like Ando that make this a common trait amongst Scottish teams. A decent pitch was in place yesterday, so there's no excuses there. That said, my vote goes to Murray Davidson, who isn't much better at the passing game, but did provide some threat and excitement, unlike any other player in a blue shirt. It's almost amusing to think that our best effort on goal only came about through Samuel pulling the ball out of the air with his mitts.
  17. Saints fans are reminded that tickets are required for entry to Easter Road and these can be purchased today or tomorrow between 9.30am and 5pm and will also be available from the Away Supporters’ Ticket Office in the South Stand at Easter Road. What a load of bollocks!!! I've just been down Easter Rd freezing my ass off to no avail. The ticket office is not in the south stand and, more importantly, the tickets are to be purchased as per usual - on the day and at the gate. Am i the only one who has been misled/confused by the statement on the OS? Am i simply a ninny? BTW the site is so much more enjoyable these days. Mon the saints - get it up all those associated with hibs - including the wee lassie who was pissing herself laughing at me in the ticket office!
  18. People voting for the same old party because they are a "[insert party] man" irrelevant of that party's manifesto or recent performance, or those who have voted "tactically" are ruining the democratic system. Clegg and the lib dems, who were widely considered to have done very well in the debates and had, to my mind, a decent manifesto, have been very hard done by, and now we all have to suffer a conservative party growing in power. Come on guys, the conservatives are cnuts!
  19. just signing in to say...101 is a tit...and away i go for another couple of months
  20. Ordered at 4.45 yesterday and was here in Edinburgh when I woke up this morning. All hail the posties!
  21. thanks guys, I'll get on the phone this afternoon. Baldy Marc - no Iv not been on the Edinburgh Saints bit yet, but I'll be sure to do so soon. Really looking forward to the game. My girlfriend's a jambo, and its her birthday on Saturday, so lots of added spiciness!
