Also, the heavy defeats by Pars(your first game) and Thistle you mentioned, I was at both of those. It was the first 2 league games of 08/09 season. We went on to lose only 3 more games the whole season, including 22 game unbeaten run and won the league by 10 points. Not sure you're qualified to talk about us struggling in the 1st division! No offence!

Thanks for clearing that up for me, it's that last paragraph which isn't mentioned above. Basically you need an old firm Scottish cup final in order for 5th place in the league to qualify

So if there's only 3 teams entering the competition, that's 3rd and 4th place plus the cup winners/runners up?? Where does 5th place come into it??

Any time Fabian Cabballero played against us - for having a face like a walrus! Seem to remember one particular game at Dens(cant remember date or score) where he got himself injured and received treatment off the pitch right in front of the away stand to chants of "Face like a walrus!" and "gory gory what a hell of a way to die... to die a dundee b******!"

Not old enough to remember 60's or 70's but certainly in the last 20 odd years I think the most glaring one was Paul Wright, the fact he never got capped was scandalous and I AM CERTAIN if he had played for one of the bigger more fashionable clubs he'd have been a regular...

I think, if true, this would be a fantastic coup. I'm only going on the times I've seen him play 90 mins - i.e against Saints, which is a heck of a lot of times to be fair. Has there been a game against us he didn't score? I'm struggling to remember one, even if there has been he has looked a constant threat, his pace causing us problems at every attack, his finishing is as good as anyone I seen in the SPL last season, in fact better than the vast majority - add to that the fact he is still young and you would hope with the right set up/coaching he will only improve - I would love to see it happen. By the way, as an aside, yes I think he seems a right t*** but I dont care, long as he does the business on the park, that's fine for me. Whether Saints will meet the demands being set is another matter but I certainly hope so

Pretty average game tonight, both teams did create chances and on that basis a draw probably fair. Really excellent goal from Morais - started the move by turning Arfield a peach and stealing about 5 yards on him, played a great little one two with Davidson to take another defender out the game and finished it brilliantly. Thought having got the equaliser we'd have went on to win but the longer the 2nd half went on the less likely it looked, although that said I thought Samuel looked good when he came on, I really hope he can get fit and stay fit this time - an on form Sammy could still get us a top 6 place, a few people saying we've blown our chance but the same people will probably be saying it's back on if we beat Rangers next Tuesday! You never know in football

How much were you putting on it each week? That's good going, you must have been staking a hell of a lot cos everyone knows you dont win every week and will have taken a few big hits, but to still be 4.5k up by end of it, well done! I wouldn't stake that sort of money on it though, I like a wee bet every week but it's more just for fun, 20 or 30 quid here and there

Hi all, just wondered if perhaps any of you parents out there could offer me any advice. I have a mate who's son turns 3 this weekend, we've spoken about perhaps eventually taking him along to Saints games and I thought it would be good to buy him a strip for his birthday. I've looked on the website and they do a 1 to 2 year old strip that I think would be too small, the next size up seems to be extra small youth, should this fit a 3 year old? Anybody any experience with this?

Good post BH, I'd agree with all of that apart from not giving a toss if the CL was scrapped tomorrow. Interesting though that you've said in the first line the CL is a higher level of football(the question asked) but then voted for the World Cup???
