THE LARK SAINT
If we're struggling for cars, if someone has a clear boot I'm good for lieing in it? Roddy Gowrie added to car list, so your spared the boot mate, unless you really want to

THE LARK SAINT
On the beautiful new 3 g Surface at Holyrood in Glasgow, Aye ok! it was the old surface with rubber instead of sand but in never stopped our hosts running all over us.With Debuts for Roddy Gowrie,Corry McDonald,Mark Treanor,Callum Stewart, and less than regular Alan Brown,Mickey Dunbar and Stewart White all in it was never going to be fluent as some of the players were meeting for the first time, especially with several regulars unavailable, and Queens's Park would go on to take full advantage with a much settled team After 45 minutes we were 5-0 down but in all honesty the score line slightly flattered QP. Former St.Johnstone Legend Mark Treanor was thrown into action after about 30 minutes in hope of shoring things up, but alas had to be withdrawn in the second half due to an injury, but fairs fair he has only played once in about 18 months before today. At half time the Gaffers 16 year old son was also thrown into action for his debut, and came off with his head held high.Debutant Corry McDonald also came on at half time came through it well. The new super duper surface was proving hard to play on though(Well that's my excuse and we would concede another 5 in the second half and finish the game with no goals for and 10 against. And so it was back to the Langside bar for the last ever time as it closes it doors tonight, drinks were very cheap though and some of the young uns were enjoying vodka and other spiirits at reduced price, talking about spirits i have to be heartened by the spirit and attitude of every single player today, despite what could only be seen as a gubbing the heads never dropped, and that would have been easy to do, its happened before after all, but no every man jack tried hard in a difficult game and can be proud of there efforts.Any way back to the pub, as it has to be mentioned The Food! Thanks for the Plate of Chips,Garlic Bread Langside, nice of you to push the boat out for us on your last night........One has to wonder why its closing down eh?Thanks as usuall to Iain Campbell and the Queens Park lads for the game, played in the usually good spirits, and for the hospitality!(Ish) ormond saints Colin Heller Alan Brown Eric Laing Gav Simpson Roddy Gowrie Michael Dunbar Craig Taylor Liam John George Burt Macho Hepburn Stewart White Mark Laing Subs all used Mark Treanor Callum Stewart and Corey Mcdonald
