  3. Days like these are rare, so you just want to soak up every second! It’s not often Saints manage to get back at a team that’s not only given you a drubbing but mocked your star player. This match was satisfying on so many levels... enjoyed this just as much as the final if not more! I was too uptight to enjoy the final properly, whereas this match I had low expectations and just hoped we could keep the score down... as much as I detest Ibrox, the location, lent itself to our small support.. Certainly a satisfying game to be at ... don’t think I have ever been as proud of a Saints team Happy Days

  4. Tomorrow sees a huge game for the battle for third place in East Conference C as Swifts and Camelon face off at the Riverside. Swifts triumphed 5-1 at Carmuirs earlier in the season and the visitors will be up for revenge which should make this fixture a cracker. Kick off is at 2.30pm and the lounge with be open pre and post match for supporters.

  5. 6 goal thriller as Swifts came from 3-1 down the equalise with a last minute penalty. Excellent game for the neutral in front of a large crowd.

So much better to be at than the final in many ways - we were expecting to be humped, and then Stevie did his thing.........Braw day.

Theres yer ****ing Stevie May. Shutting down the Aberdeen fans who'd spent the first half shouting "who the **** is Stevie May", and doing the "ole" every time they completed a pass was just beautiful.

  10. Yup, I genuinely believe playing in the lower leagues has helped them reach the level they have. They'll have learned so much more from those loans than playing reserve games. Project Brave has killed any chance of clubs our size having genuine, extensive, youth systems, with the bizarre scenario of making the number of coaches at the club the most important factor. If the system is now U18 squad, then either loaned out or released, then it's not fair on those who maybe haven't had the chance to prove themselves in the U18s to be released so early, and it means we'll miss out on some late bloomers, but if it allows more money to then be directed towards future U18 squads, then that can only be a benefit. We shouldn't be looking at 19yo players being too young for the first team.
