  1. The problem is, Tommy's gone back to his old ways three games in. Team selection at times is baffling, team formations also. Yes the squad is a little smaller than hoped? But not enough that certain players cant be dropped for havin a stinker or giving away a goal etc. That back four should have been different for starters! For example u canny drop one player for a howler and not another, Anderson should hav been benched and Fraser back, with a squad this small we cant have players thinking their place is gaureenteed! But its clear tommy has his fave's so that'll be good for a small dressing room!
  2. I've not heard of that camp mate and I'm not in it, but I think people missed your point as I did at first reading. Gaz Miller was dropped and rightly so, I think even he would agree? he seems a decent lad? Tommy has said many a time in interviews his professionalism is first class even when being benched for long periods? The team won on Sunday, so you do not change it, however more mistakes have been made so others must be 'punished' accordingly, you must set a president! It's early in the season, standards hav been raised by this team, expectations are high and the nervousness will take a few games to settle down. Things will get better, plus we've lost our top goal scorer. Everybody will have their favourites, but you MUT admit when they have had a stinker.
  3. Wow thats a statement and a half, Seriously? The only thing Dave has IS far far more experience? Scobbie, Miller and Easton are Technally better than Dave. Watch Dave, I do, everybody covers HIS runs, he cover's no ones. His passing at times is woeful, he waits til a guy has TWO men on him, then gives him the ball, I've seen it too many times.
  4. A howler of a night and people are forgetting, Ref bad or not, he doesn't make our defensive mistakes. 0-3 flatters Septic and makes Ronny 'Delilah' look like a football genius! Dave's too slow at right back and was sucked in to it, he comitted himself to the tackle and should know better? I read on here during the week that Dave's a beter right back? I'm sure last time against Miller, Boerrigter was hauled off at half-time? Ando dilly dallied and was caught out, his fault for first goal. whether Easton's pass was slow or not, Ando should always be aware of his surroundings, gives a slower player a chance. Big Al? the old sunday football cry springs to mind 'chocolate wrists'. Big Al must squat about 120-160kg, he a big lad, he should command that box like a lion, he canny even boss the 6yd box, he really needs to work on this. And agree with another poster, I hate all the back passing, it's just giving away possession!! Jiangsu, you said about Tommy seeing what we see and he was right to drop Gary Miller for his mistake, I doubt he has the balls to now drop Ando for his and re-instate Fraser, who has surely earned his place back now? If you want respect you must stick to your convictions!! It's been along time since I went to a match expectijng to get at least a draw againt the un-washed, Septic were there for the taking last night and we push self destruct 10mins into 2nd half, argh!! That is all.
  5. These are good times, somepeople must forget the late 90's early naughties, we were pish and nowhere near European Footy, now we've won the Big one for alot of clubs, counting us and again been in Europe, geez even still undefeated away from home!! Wee have a team that can excite us and give us more glory, wait and see!! Some clubs will never see a Scottish Cup never mind win it!
  6. Technically a good player that could be a great player, free kicks are good, needs to work on corners, sometimes to high and wide. But I like his delivery usually during play, as mentioned some terrific assists and if can get a run of games and more consistancy will follow, but the down side is somebody will take him from us and saints might no have enough left on a contract to secure decent dough??
  7. Maybe a couple of good loan signings, surely the Scottish cup champions could loan some Premership top ten youth?
  8. Now the Chairman has to back him with some much needed dosh !!!
  9. I'll never understand these Undisclosed Fee's, whats to hide? the fact that we have under sold ourselves? the Tax man will see this anyway, It certainly goes through tha books!
  10. A team that was (no disrespect) but not as technical as Luzern I thought, but like most Eastern European teams, very fit and very 'clever'. Yeah agree that Gary Miller's clearance attempt for what every reason was a howler! But cant agree with some posts stating weakest link and has been for season. Won the penalty that helped get us through the leg before. Certainly didn't have a bad game but this is what we will remember him for. I've seen Cup Tie, Stevie May have many a stinker and he nicks a goal and suddenly everybody forgets he was pish for 89mins and the paper gives him an 8. But I guess football's all about opinions.
  11. Love him or Hate him...................................Jimmy Calderwood ?? Can't see this improving for Steve. Utd and Celtic next..........Ouch!!
  12. Hi Fawny. Yeah you never know with players these days days, you hear too many stories. too many players releasing info to media 'pals' not like back in the day when the 'talk' from the dressing room getting outside was taboo! Anyways QPR, oh they bring back the memories, used to fly down to Heathrow and see a tasty little bird from Ickenham, Hillingdon? She worked for BA, she was a season book holder, originally from the old Shepards Bush.
  13. I was not having a go at you mate i.e. the Gary Miller thread. I was jokin when I said I hoped he was to blame for a header? I felt Saint GB was a tad harsh and to single out one player so soon and a new signing? well come on. I've viewed the boards for a while but recently decided to join up and actually have a say. I was not trying to be agressive in my manor although it may have seemed that way, for that I apologise to fellow Saints who read it like that.
  14. Beat for te header yesterday? lets hope so, so we can add to his long list of feck up's in a blue jersey!! Can you taste my sarcasm? Thought he was good in the first leg, thought that was prob his better leg, good tackling and passing, his range of passing is good overall, if we still had Sandaza he' put the ball on the big man's head everytime. If we get the chance to use his over_lap attack play is what we have yet to see? His pace is something our team needs. He was taken off as Lomas said the tie was done and he was on a yellow after 25mins, Dave needed match fitness as people who hav played the game will tell you training fitness and match fitness two different things. I can't wait to see us at Tynie on Sat and I think we will have a better team than last year?? You DID slag him and the fact you singled him out IS disgusting. I hope he does read it, I hope he along with the team hav a blinder and your made to look as big a fool as you sound!!
