Tranmere Saintee reacted to ex-montrosesaintee in Scottish League Cup
Sorry, but I love the early rounds of the cup where 'upsets' are fantastic for supporters of little teams. It's so easy to jump on the old firm bandwagon and enjoy winning all the time. Folk who like that sort of thing are welcome to it.
For many many years I've followed Saints in the pits of lower leagues, and the cup games were great excitement. We caused our fair share of shocks too.
Both St Midden and Partick went ahead in Extra time and have been pegged back. Great stuff all around the country!
And NO cup is bigger than Saints by the way. Winning the Ramsdens cup at Dens park was a marvellous evening, that I'll never forget. I support Saints through thick and thin, not just when they are winning.

So the boy has gone from Saints fan to Saints 'daft' this season. He is 12, and just started at the Academy. As some of you know, he doesn't get the easiest time, being autistic.
He came home from school today, and announced that he had been asked to go on a school trip in October, to Sunderland. They would be given a guided tour of the Stadium of Light, and then watch the Man Utd v Sunderland game.
I said 'wow, brilliant, you'll LOVE that!!' Genuinely excited for him.
He said 'don't be silly dad, I told them I couldn't go because Saints were playing Inverness Caley Thistle at home'
Beaming with pride

Tranmere Saintee got a reaction from ex-montrosesaintee in Football Memories - Dementia Sufferers (Official Site)
One of the guys I used to take to the games from Crieff Hospital only came alive at the football and could remember virtually every kick from every game I took him too and apparently that is all he would talk about until the next game. Unfortunately his dementia really was horrendous and he went downhill very quickly and I was only able to take him for 1 season, but will never forget the massive smile I used to get when I picked him up and the comments from the nurses about how much good it did him.
I wish these guys every joy and success with this venture.

Tranmere Saintee reacted to deej in Richard Brittain
I know obviously she wouldn't want that public, but had that been known when lugs changed his mind, I'm sure the reaction would have been different.
Steve Brown would have found a way to sort it out privately, with relatively little fuss, but in came Derek 'wankstain' Adams claiming all sorts, which didn't help anything.
Had St Johnstone been the ones who released the initial statement, "Richie Brittain will be staying in dingwall due to family reasons, Saints have been fully notified and come to an agreement to cancel the PCA. "
... this whole thing would have been over before it started.

Tranmere Saintee reacted to ancientsaint in U-20 Season 2013/14
Excellent first half from Saints but second half belonged to Caley and they could have snatched all 3 pts ---midfield seemed to fall away and that put a strain on the defence......Scott Brown and the boy Kitchen looked the part and should improve over the next few games -Edwards looked lively as did the boy Thomson but they need to pass a bit more.
The keeper Hurst looks quite decent as well and despite the second half lapse the future looks good.
